Hi Everyone,

Having Auction for Don Bradman sounds exciting. However Don Bradman is definately not region specific game . Hence I thought of having a competition where a team can have players from every country.

However, there needs to be some innovation in owning a team full of stars. As a result of which I have created Teams (each consisting of 30 Players) with few rules like

1. 5 Genuine openers
2. 3 Specialist Keeper
3. 6 Specialist Bowlers
4. 15 Middle order and All Rounders
5. Maximum 9 Players (Legends or Any player who has retired from every format of cricket).

Since people will be spoiled for choices to make things more interesting Playing XI needs to have

1. 3 Specialist Batsmen
2. 1 Specialist Keeper
3. 2 Specialist Bowler
4. Maximum 4 legend players as mentioned in point no 5 above.

I have created 6 such teams by names
Worlds Best 1
Worlds Best 2
Worlds Best 3
Worlds Best 4
Worlds Best 5
Worlds Best 6

Any feedback suggestions for the same are welcome.

The aim if this tournament is successful is to add other regions leagues in as well such as the IPL and BBL to allow as many people around the world to play with their favourite players .

That's correct. I'm currently working on the internationals at the moment.

Cool. Lets finish this auction stuff before the game releases. I'd like to suggest one more feature. Allow a transfer window of 3 or 4 days post auction. Some people may buy some players who they don't need. So let us trade the players between us.

Sorry Angry but this undermines a large point of the Auction. You only have 1 mil to spend so spend it wisely.
@SamP: You are doing awesome work It takes a lot effort to organise a competition and you're doing it for no money so huge kudos!

The first round of the auction will hopefully start in the next couple of days when I've got all the prices set and everyones agreed on their management placement. For the first round I'll probably give you all 3-4 days to send in your bids to me as it will be the first time doing it .

I believe the players database is now fully complete player wise although please tell me if you think someone needs adding (really need a few more domestic players if possible). You can use Ctrl+F to search for a player if you want. I'm working on the base prices for bidding now .

I agree but i was referring to something similar to Fooball league where they have a transfer window before the start of season and in between.
