A hard hitting all-rounder and medium fast bowler, Albie Morkel was one of the stars in T20s in the early stages.
Also he is one of my favourite players, so i had planned to pick him since the beginning
He perfectly fits into no. 6 spot with Morris and Bravo following up

With Amir's inclusion, there's indeed lots of firepower in that bowling department. Now I'm not really sure whether to pick two batsmen or a batsman and a bowler in next rounds.

Luke Wright was the first name I had put in my team. With more than 4000 runs at an average of 33 with a strike rate of 150+ and 5 centuries in the English T20 Cups only, he is just too good to be left out. Capable to blast from the first ball, and also able to consolidate when needed, he is the ideal opener for any T20 team.

Add to that his handy bowling, and you get a complete T20 cricketer. Off the top of my head, I still remember when Gayle hit his 175*, it was only him and Bhuvi who had economical figures. Bhuvi gave only 20 in 4 overs, and Luke took one wicket for 26 in 4 overs. Pretty good.

Even though McCullum can keep wicket, I'm opting to choose a younger player. His potential and ability is perhaps more suited to the 50-over format, as can be seen during the World Cup last year, but I've seen him play time and again, and he can clobber anyone anywhere. He was poised to break into the senior West Indies team as a youngster before a car accident cut that aim short. Still, he kept at it with his rehab (even after being doubtful of even walking properly again), he never said no. After surgery and intensive physiotherapy, he returned and immediately slotted into place almost as if he had never left.

His stats aren't much to call home about, at least in T20s, but anyone who watches an innings where he gets going will tell you...be very, very afraid if you're a bowler.

Still only 24 years old and with his career just getting into stride, his past life experience has shown him to be mentally tough, not letting a few lean innings affect him. And what's more important, he can bat anywhere from opener down to 7 or 8. But his best T20 form comes around 4 or 5, and he and Duminy can alternate spots depending on the match situation.

Oh, did I mention he keeps at a level that some keepers would only aspire to?

Nick Pooran gets rostered next for me.

My next pick is Shafiul Islam

From cricinfo:

"Shafiul Islam, a right-arm fast bowler, forced his way into the first-class scene in 2007 and was immediately in the thick of the action. After taking five wickets on debut, he very nearly steered his side, Rajshahi Division, to an improbable win with the bat. Islam's abilities with the new ball soon made the Bangladesh talent spotters take note. An average of just over 25 in his first two seasons on the benign tracks of Bangladesh, and injuries to senior pacemen including Mashrafe Mortaza, earned the youngster a call-up to the national ODI squad for the home tri-series against India and Sri Lanka. He made his debut against Sri Lanka in the opening game of the series in January 2010."

@qpeedore go ahead with you next pick

That was a fast turnaround.

No doubt about my next pick. Set to play his third Test match later on this week, he doesn't need to run. A strike rate of 150 attests to that. And, as former captain Carlos Braithwaite mentioned to the BBC recently, he puts so much revolutions on the ball while bowling that you can hear it fizz. Get him in there with 3 overs to go and if you're the non-striker, don't bother calling for the single. Just don't get a stiff neck watching the ball fly to all parts. Rahkeem Cornwall will also provide the second spin option once Badree is bowled out, with Duminy and Gayle to cover in case.

So, Matt Parkinson has easily been the best bowler in the English T20 circuit by a country mile for the past 2 seasons. With 65 wickets in just 37 innings at an average of 15.03 with a strike rate of 12.5... Just let those stats sink in. He relies on natural turn to beat the batsmen and does a pretty good job at that. If the pitch turns, he'll run through the lineups... If not, I trust him to be economical enough. Even if he is not, I have enough bowlers to compensate him.[DOUBLEPOST=1593980213][/DOUBLEPOST]@Akshay.

:ind: :ar: Krunal Pandya
1,338 runs @ 23.47 (SR: 138.50, best 86, b/6: 17.9) and 79 wickets @ 28.82 (econ: 28.82, 1 4WI, best 4/36) in 102 matches

I really rate Krunal Pandya as a utility player in Twenty20 cricket. His traditional counting stats aren't much, but if you want a player who can make an impact with a ten-ball cameo or two or three economical overs at an opportune moment, then there's barely anyone more effective than Hardik's elder brother.
