Whoa man! Loved NEP. But, it'll be mokkai if you don't watch it with certain mood. Santhanam's one-liners are top class.
See... All those initial bad reviews were from those typical B&C centers who want cheap masala entertainment, the dishoom-dishoom or the guys who hate the usage of English in Tamil films.... They know that GVM's films are like this, yet they continue to watch it and continue to review it.
On Santhanam - Gautham handles comedians very rarely (the last time he had a comedian in his film was his very first film, Minnale) and in that film, Vivek was a laugh riot. Same way, Santhanam is a riot in NEP. Gautham should take a cue from this and have comedians in his films because in his films, comedians seem to do really well.

Excellent article. It kind of re-iterates that Tamil cinema shows such sensitive things in 'not so correct' light just for dramatization, which will help them bring people to the movie.
The movie was good though. I liked the film. Sruthi's dubbing was the only sore point. But in a way, its good that she did it herself. These days, Tamil heroines are going in a good track by dubbing for themselves (Asin in all her films, Trisha in Mankatha, Manmadan Ambu, etc, Sruthi in '3', Samantha in NEP, etc).
I genuinely loved 3, it's just one of those films I'll never forget, a movie that truly connected with me.

Saw a movie called "Yaarukku theriyum"... The movie was good..... I would appreciate the movie for its plot which was different...Good first attempt by the debutant director

Saw an Old Movie Starring Major Sundararajan and Sivaji ganesan which was aired on tv today, "Gnanaoli"... Excellent movie with awesome story, top notch acting especially by sivaji and Good direction.... D Movie almost moved me to tears...

The title track is a RIPPERRRR!!!! Especially from 2:02, the track hits a crescendo. I listened to it 34 times in one go y'day. Hip Hop Tamizhan Adhi is best in it! ANd Yo Yo Honey Singh too...
