@King of Cricket: You missed Irandaam Ulagam too by Selvaraghavan and Harris Jayaraj.

Aarrambam music is so mediocre. Except for that opening song and "En Fuse Pochu", rest are pretty mediocre. Not a worthy album for Vishnuvardhan-Yuvan, who gave hits like Sarvam, Pattiyal, Arindhum Ariyamalum, Billa. Vanakkam Chennai songs are good, but that music video is plain crap. If that's how it will appear in the film, god bless the film. Nayyandi is nice music. Should be a hit with Dhanush featuring in it.

Hot news is, Harris Jayaraj is not going the background score of Irandaam Ulagam and Anirudh is doing it. Wonder why, but this can be a very good thing for the film. Harris is not good with background scores and repeats stuff. Anirudh on the other hand makes better BG scores than songs.

What a movie! Goodness me Mr. Atlee. Hats off for your effort. Arya, Nayanthara, Jai, Nazirya, Santhanam, Sathyan, Sathyaraj all have done a fantastic job. Brilliant story, tears just kept rolling out, there is a LIFE after LOVE FAILURE folks. Life is love, love is life. Love Failure is not the end of it brother

Totally Agree To It Even Being A Thala Fan I Didn't Like the Songs u1 Is Going So Worse After His Second Marriage In November 2011 Except One Or Two Songs Have Been Hit And With Anirudh Yeah I Think He Is Repeating The Genres That We Had Seen In The Past ! !

I have been hearing only average reviews about Raja Rani, which all say that it has a lot of cliches and is almost a Mouna Raagam remake. And also the fact that it has Arya and Nayan, makes me not want to watch it.

I am more excited about "Onayum Aatukuttiyum" by Mysskin which has also released this weekend. Its in my favorite genre, thrillers. And Mysskin being back in his familiar grounds makes it all the more exciting. And the BG score by Ilayaraaja which was released for free on the internet, was just sensational.

I would be wrong if i say it is no way related to Mouna Raagam. It has a spoon of essence from that movie but i would not call that as a remake. I actually hate Nayanthara but this film showed her class, a fantastic comeback for her indeed. Arya doesnt have much to do in the movie except comedy. Jai and Nayan constitute the crux of the movie. Nazirya isnt used much too just like Arya. Infact Santhanam had bigger role than these two had. Give it a try, maybe you wouldnt like it as much as i liked but surely you must see the movie for the debutant Mr. Atlee.

Watched 20 mins of "Thanga Meengal" and immediately trashed the movie to the dustbin. HORRIBLE movie!! Its sad that people rate any movie highly these days. Are we so deprived of good films these days? Childish, over exaggerated and stupid to the core. The acting, especially by the kid is so exaggeratedly bad. Sad for the kid, but it does what its asked to do.

Unfortunate that this movie got rave reviews. For me, its a 0/5

Anyone Heard Kochadaiyaan Single? I Heard It But To Be Honest It Was Okay Definitely Not To Up to The Standards Of Rajni-ARR Combo Especially Vairamuthus Lyrics Was Awful . But The Tune Brought A War Theme Feel And SPB Has Done A Decent Job With It.

R u crazy or what? The lyrics is what makes the song brilliant! Wonder from where u got big expectations, but they have so far underplayed the hype for a Rajni film

After Muthu, this is 2nd best for a Rajni intro song

IMHO, Padayappa intro is not as good as Muthu or this one. Musically and singing wise, Muthu and Kochadaiiyan to me are better.

Best intro overall for Rajini is obviously "Naa Autokaaran" and "Vandhenda Paalkaaran". Theri intros!

Watched Raja Rani today. I liked it for Nazriya and Jai, the best parts of the film. Nayan was not bad, but her makeup in many scenes and her dubbing (Deepa Venkat didn't suit her at all) were major sore thumbs. Arya was dull, drab and boring. The film has liberal lifts from so many other love stories - Mouna Raagam, Rhythm, Lesa Lesa, Alaipayuthey, etc. But Nazriya and Jai made it enjoyable to an extent. Nazriya - tha chance eh illa.... She looks cute and beautiful! She is a Jyothika Part-II in the way she expresses. I am a huge fan of Jo, and I think Nazriya can come up like Jo if she picks the right films. She has the acting capabilities, and she will be loved for her bubbliness.

Jai was excellent in his character. The best part was "Naa azhuvala, en kannu verkudhu".... None of the songs stays! This should have been a Harris Jayaraj musical. He would have rocked it! Overall, movie is one time watch and decent attempt from a debut director.
