sorry didn't get a chance to do sum screenz last night but should be able to tonight...fixed up the model and the frame rate is now nice a nd smooth hovering aroun60fps and doesn't drop under...so that is excellent newz... On second thought tho, the higher detail models of course do look better, but the lower detail ones are still pretty good. I'm assuming also that by the time this is released the 'average user's' pc will be substantially more powerful than my current one...but i dont want to rely on that assumption, so i'll most likely include both as an option to choose from high-detailed models to low-detailed.

well, as promised, here's a couple of screens...hard to tell from stills, but you can see it's shaping up pretty well...i'm getting a smooth constant 60fps with antialiasing and filtering etc. so much much better....

* pls ignore the 'placeholder' white bowler - i know it's crap, it will be replaced in the next (bowling) phase...
