When the Action of India and Australia was going on, BCCI announced the schedule for the next tournament, Srilanka, which was to travel in India for two months, which Included 3 tests, 5 one day Internationals and 1 Pro40 International.

Sri Lanka in India 2009.
Unlimited Over Format:-
Practice Test:- Board President XI VS Sri Lanka. 4 Day match at Kochi.
1st Test:- India VS Sri Lanka at Kochi.
2nd Test:- India VS Sri Lanka at Nagpur.
3rd Test:- India VS Sri Lanka at Mumbai.

Limited over Format:-
Practice ODI:- India A VS Sri Lanka at Jaipur. (D/N)
1st ODI:- India VS Sri Lanka at Mohali.(D/N)
2nd ODI:- India VS Sri Lanka at Delhi. (D/N)
3rd ODI:- India VS Sri Lanka at Gwalior. (D/N)
4th ODI:- India VS Sri Lanka at Chennai. (D/N)
5th ODI:- India VS Sri Lanka at Mumbai. (D/N)

Only Pro40 International:- India VS Sri Lanka at Hyderabad. (D/N)

Sri Lankans were to play 7 Day Night Games at India. All of them were declared to be Day Night as BCCI said that it was with more profit when they hosted Day Night games than Day Games.
They even said that the reason for Pro 40 match was for a check of response in people for that format of game, a new format in India.
They even said that Indian Squad would be out soon after the One Day Series against Australia.

Well, both the teams arrive at Hyderabad for the final match of the Australian Tour of India 2009.
The series result is decided but yet, this is a game, which'll indirectly decide ICC rankings.
So, this is a match, which the people would like to watch as the Home Team has not won even a match at the ground, where the match is scheduled to take place.
The city based IPL team Deccan Chargers won IPL 2 but lost all the games which took place at Hyderabad.
Hyderabad Ranji Team lost all the 10 matches they played and South Zone team in Deodhar trophy lost all the games at Hyderabad.
So, this was a match, which was to decide whether its a jinx or else, some evil powers are working on that particular ground.

Well, it was an important day for cricketing world as this match, of course no use to decide the series result, but yet, a match which was to decide the ICC rankings.
Pitch Report and Toss by Bcvstheworld.

This pitch has given home people lot of entertainment in the form of sixes, but it failed to give a win, to the home team.
Coming to Pitch report, its a good pitch for batting and if I were the winning captain,I'll have bat first.

MS Dhoni had a shocking news today that his house was caught by income tax department and he went there to settle the matters there. So, it'll be Virat Kohli, who'll be leading the side.

Well, Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar Started off well and at the same time, the clouds even came in, but remained uninterrupted.
But, nothing could stop Sehwag and Sachin as they were unstoppable.
Their sixes and fours entertained the crowd.
Then in the same hitting streak, both of them completed their centuries.
But, Johnson removed Tendulkar when Tendulkar tried to hit the ball outside the rope.
Watto..!! What a men there... Excellent catch.
Virat Kohli was on attack right from the first ball.
He scored only 28 runs but it was in a quick time of 20 balls.
While this was going on.. Virender Sehwag even got out when he was at 136.
Then walked in Rohit Sharma.
He even scored 40 in a quick time.
His contribution made Yuvraj Singh bit active and made him score 24 runs off 18 balls.
Then walked in Irfan Pathan replacing Rohit Sharma.
Irfan was in hurry to make India cross 400 run mark.
Believe it or not..!! Irfan scored 60 runs off 24 balls.
What a scoring..!! Its even impossible in T20 matches.
This match was expected to be nail bitting as Home side never won at the ground, where they were playing.
Sixes were put up in a great succession by Irfan Pathan..!!
India ended up at 427 in their given 50 overs.

Then after Indian Batting, it looked likely for Indian Win.
But it was the ground where the home side never won a game.
And Many felt that was the main reason for a thunderstorm at Hyderabad and the match was officially abandoned as three floodlights were off as the thunder hit them.
Even though it was not raining after 2 and half hours, the floodlights were off.
And now, we have Yudi with post match presentation.

Sachin: Well, actually, I play for my team. Not for my personal records. And I feel pretty happy as everyone feels the same, when he becomes World class person.
Yudi: What are your plans for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka??
Sachin: Well, its pleasure playing against Sri Lanka in India. And I feel we have to restrict Sri Lanka to zero wins at India against India in test matches.
Yudi: One final Question. Are you playing the 40 over game??
Sachin: Might be no. Still, I have to decide about that particular game
Yudi: Well, Good luck for the upcoming series against Sri Lanka.

Indian Kit Changed.
As said earlier by BCCI, Indian Kit was changed here at Hyderabad. The kit, which was dark blue, was changed to something similar to what they had.
BCCI said that this was purely because they had change in sponsors.
BCCI announced the list of sponsors for upcoming 4 years.
Nike was to continue as Apparel sponsor as usual.
Sahara stepped out as sponsor. In for them, Vijay Mallaya's Fly Kingfisher was named sponsor.
Niranjan Shah released the kit and said that it will not be marketed for 6 months.
Then he released the kit which looked like this:

Then Dhoni walked on ramp, followed by all his men.
All this took place at an Indoor Stadium as if they do it in Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, that kit would play spoil sport in their game
Dhoni Said," Well, tbh, this is an happy occasion but still, I feel sorry for Indian Hyderabadi Fans as we din't even win a game here at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium. I'm sure, HCA is making some changes to stadium by altering their office and following Vaastu.
I'm sure that we'll win next game here against Sri Lanka and I hope everyone of you turn up there for brand new format of the game Pro 40"
Then, Local boy Pragyan Ojha was the one, who came from the crowd, creating sensation.
Then there was a small reception for Indians there and then, BCCI was all set to announce their 18 Man squad for series against Sri Lanka for Test Matches, for which Niranjan Shah said that the talks were going on for that and the suqad will be announced within 48 hours.

Dhoni Cleared off Income Tax department.
Well, Indian skipper was to his home for IT department issues which he cleared and arrived at Hyderabad for Kit Changing function.
According to reports, Mahi was called for having a ride in his home and show them that he's paying tax for his income, which he show.
MS about this said that they actually called me for producing tax paid receipts, not for putting me behind the bars:laugh. Thank god, before leaving for the tour against Australia, I cleared all the taxes. And of course, I have my driving license lost, I already requested them for another copy of it.
