TENNIS Tennis World Tour

The reviews are pretty much neck and neck (although for some reason AOIT on XB1 is doing much better than PS4) I think AOIT is slightly ahead, but it's tight - Mario is out in a couple of weeks and looks very mint, but obviously it's Switch exclusive so shouldn't steal much business from these two.
How many furlongs to go and will either fall. Guess AOIT has a rather fat obnoxious jockey... ? X

The patch that came out a few hours ago essentially did nothing, all it did was fix the issue where the ball wasn't touching the racket and still being returned somehow. That was it gameplay wise, just a few small additions like an extra outfit for Federer, a few career mode bug fixes and that's basically it... Evidently online mode is due out next week, they really need to work on gameplay though and the AI needs to start making unforced errors.

And they have Rafa -

v1.03 patch is out for TWT on PS4 today (in the end I joined Boomerang game rentals and got TWT on rent for the month for £9.99, worth it to see if they can get past 20% development).

Well amazingly, today, on the same day AO Tennis dev's mentioned the much needed ball swerving physics and other great improvements coming in....

TWT finally..........................finally....................fixed the ridiculous ball being one foot from the racket on connection with the ball that was mostly noticeable at "this" end of the court, it finally looks half decent now.

TWT wont introduce ball swerve though, I wont pester them for it, I want AO Tennis to become, as mikeymerren has said, THE benchmark Tennis game because the way BigAnt have listened to us on here, and no doubt to those on their own oddly quiet forum, speaks volumes for BigAnt, they have been incredible of late and I dont think i am the only one happy with them taking on board feedback that has been constructive.

So clearly:-

Ant > Ben (Ant needs to remain Big, and Ben needs to remain Small)

Now where did that prescription vanish to, I need another course of these hallucinating drugs I was prescribed...........

Breakpoint is the developer for TWT remember, Bigben the publisher, but anyway! The positive I see for TWT is that they have no other games scheduled that I'm aware of currently, Big Ant will likely be working on that potential Gridiron game, the next Don Bradman/Ashes, Rugby League Live 5 to name a few, have you played Big Ant games previous to AO Tennis? If not, they do have a knack for going absent on games once they announce new ones, I'd hope they wouldn't do this given AO Tennis is their first global launch and that would really hurt them if they attempted a sequel down the line.

Yes I've got all 3 of the Big Ant cricket games, and Rugby League Live 3, and pretty sure some of their games from years ago too.

Good point about Big Ben, they have a library of games released over the years I seem to recall, and Breakpoint are behind TWT of course as you say.

Probably should of twigged given your join date, but it is late in Australia!

I'm not overly keen on another 12gb update with such slow internet speeds here!

Do they have a hospital and a physio table?[DOUBLEPOST=1528381201][/DOUBLEPOST]

Sorry who are you talking about as you haven't 'tagged' 12gb seems very excessive... That would almost be a complete new game... ? What is this for?

The 12gb patch is for AO Tennis, so unrelated to TWT. Just the fact I have super slow internet and there was a 12gb patch only 2 weeks ago also, it's essentially like it replaces the whole game as the game launched at 13gb or so...

Okay that's so wrong just gives me the impression they fu... Screwed up big time... Such a shame!

You almost didn't tag me x

Apart from the zillion patches to various of their games after release.........
