Got this result from Uni a few days ago!! Incredible I must say. Most probably it was just a temporary surge of speed, but nevertheless, it's Awesome

The Sydney server regularly gives 100mbps + speeds, but it's the servers in US and other places where the actual speed is tested. That's somewhere around 10 mbps.

Their internet is generally blazing fast theoretically because most of their network is inside their own country, and international traffic is low. This is the reason why Internet is so expensive in India.

I'm pretty sure that is the worst speed of broadband of anyone on PC. How crappy is that? My ISP was meant to be temporary until I switch but I just haven't been bothered.

What da feck! I need to hack the univeristys internet and use that I think!

My speed is Indias speed and its more than his

The majority of Indians speeds on PC are below 1mb/s, which is damn slow.

But this speed is only available on their computers.. The wifi speed sucks bad. Probably because a million people are logged in and using it simultaneously.

Also, Uni net will have too many restrictions for your liking

I tested again today, and being a Sunday, it was relatively less crowded. Gave me speeds of 530/150. The funny thing is, this speed is only at the Sydney server. Within Australia, it max outs at around 120/30 and other places, it becomes a lowly 20/15.

Still, feels nice to brag about something
