Man what a killer knock by Ben Stokes. He is truly is the top allrounder of our generation. Backs to the wall both in the WC final and now this Test match. What a superb player he's turned out for England in those crunch situations.

Fair to say it was Stokes' day, every ball he hit was going for boundaries consistently. But it looked like the Aussies were getting nervous towards the end when there was 30 odd runs left to get, really it could be told by Lyon fumbling that ball and that poor use of DRS. Guess not everything goes your way, does it? This series is well and truly alive with a blow to Aussie morale.

That was a shockingly bad decision to be fair, reviews should have nothing to do with the umpire’s decision. It seemed like the context of the game got to him. If they aren’t sure, they need to let the 3rd umpire make these decisions, we already have a system like that for close catches and the entire soft signal idea is a lot more applicable for lbws.[DOUBLEPOST=1566747859][/DOUBLEPOST]

This is Stokes year. What a player, what an inning. And fearsome tweak you to people who say he was out yet he survived. Australia screwed it up, they dropped Stokes, missed the run out and took that atrocious DRS call.

In the end, one bad session does not mean Australia are bad but they need to rethink their strategy. The fielding looked pathetic, they lacked intent and Paine’s captaincy looked bleak.

Also well played Jack Leach, you won England a test match as much as Stokes did.

Well played Stokes, you are the cricketer of the hear already. The best all rounder we have around hands down.
