How is Wade playing as a specialist batsman ahead of Labuschagne?

I just dont see what Ali offers any more.....

Yes he's massively out of form, would rather see a specialist spinner come in.Matt Parkinson would be great he's only 22 and such a clever bowler.definitely should be in the T20 team.

If there is no lateral movement which there isn't any right now, he has the ability to change this match in a session which Labuschagne does not. That is exactly what Australia needs right now.

Smith is making our bowlers look like Leicestershire operators.

It’s been like playing with a Kookaburra ball. Done a bit for 10 overs and then done shit all and gone soft.

Steve Smith will have more test runs in the past 16 months than Ali if he gets to 140. He has played 4 days of test cricket in that period.

What is the status of Jimmy? Anderson? Does he have a serious injury or is just being ‘rested’ so that he can play in the next game? Why did England risk him batting in the first innings if he wasn’t fit?

Woakes was batting. He could have played some shots to take the lead further

Are those few runs really worth the risk of further injuring your best bowler though?

There wasnt a cause of damaging himself when he came into bat tho.[DOUBLEPOST=1564928912][/DOUBLEPOST]Glad to see the back of Smith, well played indeed.
