Guess who's here? ;)

Name: KBChandraW

Batting Style: Right-Hand

Bowling Style: Right-arm-medium

Skill: All-Rounder.

Well, I only know how to impress everyone by playing cricket, and nothing else.

Although there's a need for it, I'd tell some of my cricketing moments.

When i started cricket, there was a little ground, a heavy bat and simple throw bowlers. 99/100 times, i'd miss the ball, getting bowled. But one day, i questioned myself why i miss it. And from the next day, the things went up-Side down, there were more balls smashed out of the ground than missing them.

I strongly know with grace that, if you challenge and believe in yourself, you can change anything.

When it comes to my batting, I am a right hander, but could bat with left-hand without any control over the shots, say hit out or get out. Turning back to right, i can be so strong at times, which can get the bowler who's bowling to me a shiver in his hands, and often, I could shiver. But They're old times, now, i know how to deal with things, calmly and precisely.

I practiced with a golf club, to middle the ball, and the ball is a small, swinging, hard ball.

I still believe i have tremendous potential that completely has never come out so far. Dealing with diabetes, i can't bat for more than 2 hours maximum. But my determination bats as long as i am.

Coming to the bowling part which is really interesting, I've got much easier way to bowl than bat when i first started. Literally, i was a right-hand bowler, who could spin the bowl from leg to third man for a right handed batsmen and could go more worser in angling and same with off spin. I developed numeral ways to get unconventional spin, and they all worked. But again, I never lost my hope in swinging the ball nor i will never lose. I worked with people who swung the ball more like doing them in imagination. I got it into my arsenal and no wonder i gained tremendous ability over it too. What's left now? I'd ask myself.... Left hand bowling. I, got all my interests in left hand spin bowling, more than anything i learn in bowling, i tried bowling over and over and over and over again to gain accuracy and unimaginable spin. The one thing i do so dangerously is, Chinamen bowling, but! with developing accuracy. When i used to bowl chinamen, 99/100 times, the batsmen is certain to get confused. But later on, i developed in "placing" at lethal places that can change the perspective of the batsmen who thinks the ball's going to be a wide, and with no notice whatsoever, The ball hits the middle-stump. Such is the spinning ability i posses by bowling chinamen.

Swing is an art, they say, i say, and you say and the world will say. Obviously, without any remarks in mind, Swing is blessed art, and me? When i started left-hand bowling, i noticed that i grip, seam and swing the ball infinite times better than i do with the right-hand, i tried copying the style in gripping the ball i do with left-hand to right hand, and noticed left-hand had unique natural swing. So, i bowled and bowled over and over again, and saying that, I could now say that i could do art with my Left-Hand as well!

Everything was fine, everything. The only strength i believe to get is pace. I do bowl with nice pace in pitches. But with health ticking this off for present, I'd say let's try again.

....Batting, bowling.. and there's something missing right? Fielding!

The best i can do. The thing that i have from birth! Fielding! I "WOW" at myself sometimes. I'm slim, and i can't..Can't believe how flexible i am. I am ready to field ever for my National team of my country. Such is my confidence in my fielding. And that's remain as it is, or go into newer and higher levels too.

Reflex and diving catches. Anyone who saw you fielding and catching, Anyone, they'd still tell you back even after 6 years every part of how you fielded and some things which dimmed from your mind.

When i used to play with my brother and relatives, I'm still known for the effortless diving catch that i jumped onto the ball which was going down and with defense on it, and caught it as if..hehe..well, It's written to be done. That's all i could describe. Those run-outs, just a throw at the stumps and over, batsmen is sure to go back.

I wish i could transfer the moments, of course, EVERYONE IN THE WORLD DOES IT! And for the moments that happened, i'd surely will take inspiration and everything to the moments that are yet to happen.

For the cricketer 2008, i know i could get there much faster than thought, such is what we can believe in. Yes, I can!

Thanking you,

- KBC....

MacWorld: Welcome to part 2 of the Cricketer 2008. The task set today was to look at a pitch and decide whether to bat or bow. I must say this was a very hard task but was very pleased at the responses i got. The right decision would be to bowl as the pitch was not favouring one side. Lets see how you all did:

Adam Hornbuckle 88%
Randy Red 82%
Danni Veza 90%
Zorax Doom 91%
Ayub Abdi 82%

Only five of you remain, after the third part one of you will leave. Join us tonight for the eviction. MacWorld has chosen Ayub and Randy to join him in the pavillion where one of them will be leaving. This competition is getting very close and everyone is favourates to win. (ecept ayub:p).

WHO WILL WIN THE CRICKETER 2008

I can see Ayub going in this one. He's already been in the pavilion before so he's got to go this week.

Just watch out for mis-spelling words mate ;).

If Ayub survives this week I will eat my PC and donate all my vCash to Funknath.

The Cricketer 2008

Welcome to part 3 of The Cricketer 2008, the show where 12 contestants battle it out for a ?100,000 cash prize and a contract with Hampshire A team. Before the break MacWorld set a challenge to the eight remaining candidates. Three of the contestants did not complete this and will no longer participate in the competion. Ayub Abdi and Randy Red were the two lowest scoring cricketers and were sent to the pavillion where the final verdict was being decided. Only four contestants would remain after this week.

Andrew Caddick: Ayub definatly put lots more effort into his challenge today and managed to get a high score compared to his usual. However this is his third time in the pavillion and i am not sure if he deserves another chance. He did however manage to describe the conditions quite well and explain what he would do. It may have been a bit short but it was good.

Randy has somehow dropped in his performance but only just. He did do a very good job explaining what he would do despite his lack of knowledge about pitches. I think Randy needs to learn more and that is what this show is about so i am rooting for him.

Mike Gatting: Ayub has definatly improved but i am still not sure if he has what it takes to win the show. There was nothing wrong with his essay he just needed to write more. Randy did not get everything right but certainly new what he wanted to do. It was a tough decision but i would have bowled first. I am rooting for ayub in this one but only just.

lets join MacWorld in the pavillion.

MacWorld: Well done to both of you, you have come this far and you should be proud. However i have to get rid of one of you, this is a very hard decision, both of your essays were good. Ayub, this is your third time hear. Last week i was going to vote you off if it wasn't for Amaya coming up with all that crap about celebs. I will do the same this week. I will regret this but |Randy you are OUT!
