i think with 30 (both of them) runs off u should bat as they can acheive it, it wont take long to get them you have got around a 300-400 lead plus u will get to bowl at there batsmen before the end of the day and hopefully pick up a wicket

Captains Thoughts

Im really sorry to do this but i think we have to declare, i know its kind of spitefull but its for the good of the team, in our last championship match in real life we made 707/1 dec, Graham Welch was 99no and if he scored a single from the next ball he would have equalled the fastest century of the season, he choose to declare and we won by an innings, same situation nearly, same descision. I hope there will be no hard feelings.

that was a good match for us at least we won a game this season in the County Championship
shame we couldnt do it again against Somerset in the National League

but anyway back on topic declaring does sound fair as it gives us slightly longer to win but i think he might like a 400 next to his name
