The Falcons and their manager, Zohaib Ahmed welcome you to the Falcons Cricket Club. The Falcons have been around for 3 Seasons now and they are looking quite stronger than they last were. Although they have lost crucial players, they have also found new talent in which their team will build. So get ready to meet the Falcons Squad

Meer Ansari- Batsman
Ansari.jpg

Runs Scored: 1967
Career Average: 56.20
Ansari has been in this Falcon squad for a long time. Although he comes lower down the order, he is a manifent batsman to have. He makes great scores when his team are in trouble. Ansari is not known for playing fast, but he bats like his team needs him to bat, one of the reasons why his average is so high.

Furgan Ashraf- Bowler
Ashraf.jpg

Matches Played: 7
Wickets Taken: 15
Average: 9.60
Ashraf is the youngest member of the Falcons. Being only 17, Asfraf has got a tremendous start to his career. He has taken 15 wickets in just 7 games, and the economy rate is fantastic! Ashraf is said to be the answer to the Falcons bowling problems.

Average: 17.25
Doshi is an original member of the Falcons. Before the Falcons bought their new Keeper, Doshi used to keep and play lower down in the order. He started his career nicely, averaging high 30's but since he was demoted his average fell. Now he stands as the back up keeper for the Falcons.

Fiaz Inamullah- Bowler
Imanullah.jpg

Matches Played: 92
Wickets Taken: 184
Average: 17.66
When the Falcons were hunting for a spinner, one person stood above the rest. It was Inamullah. This man has gotten 184 wickets and he is only 22. His specialties are his fielding, and his pinch-hitting lower down in the order, and not to forget his deadliest specialty, Spin.

Brad Kilgallon- Allrounder
Kilgallon.jpg

Matches Played: 63
Batting Average: 31.12
Bowling Average: 21.19
Brad is a very good player. He is another Right arm Fast bowler in this team. He reaches very high speeds which trouble a lot of the batsmen. Although he has been a little disappointing in the batting department, his bowling has worked fantastically. He was bought by the Falcons for 816k.

Keith Lister- Batsman

Mahmood is a youngster, who has a high possibility of making it into the Pakistan National Side someday. His bowling just gets better and better. Nisar is the oldest out of all his team mates. He comes out as Captain and therefore he has a special job. He scores by finding the gaps and taking singles. Shahbaz is the wicketkeeper for the Falcons, and he also opens. He has a very high strike rate. If you are the bowler, you don't want to start your day by bowling to him! He has the habit to pick the ball up right off the face of the bat. He is truly the greatest Wicket-keeper batsman the team has ever seen!

Paul Shorey- Batsman

Shorey is a class player. He comes one down and he plays sensibly. Recently he has been going at an average of 203.50 with a strike rate of 97.40!!! He is the best batsman the Falcons have to offer this season, and his stats show it all! Watch out, and hope that he keeps it up!

Hey hey! Mine went on for quite a while
The difficulties I faced were:
1) Lack of intrest at the time
2) You had to personalise the players, make them seem like complex people and make them, y'know, seem realistic to the audience. When you have a sort of relationship established, selling or firing the player then becomes hard.
3) Number of dry days, and the numerous updates needed in quick succession. I think it is going to be very difficult with FC games now coming, too keep the readers updated each day, each session.
But good luck.

Shakeeluddin Nisar Made Captain for The Next Season!

Nisar.jpg
Shakeeludin Nisar has been given a reward for his great work with the bat last season. Zohaib Ahmed today announced that his experience and his leadership level will lead the Falcons into a great season. Nisar averaged a massive 139.33 from all 18 matches he played in last season. He is also known as the eldest of the team as he is 29. Nisar said the following to the media today:
It's a great honor captaining such a wonderful side. I will make sure that I won't disappoint my coach and my team-mates, and ofcourse the fans!

The Falcons vs The Cricwick Legends
PlanetCricket League Match

The Falcons won the toss and they decided to bat First. It was a warm day, the sun was out. The Pitch was a tad on the slow side, like you would find at the ZCG (Falcon's Home Ground). Shahbaz and Nisar walked out into the middle and took guard. An aggressive start by Shahbaz got the Falcons moving while his Partner, Nisar was going a bit slower. After a great partnership of 136, Shahbaz took a risky run and found himself short of the crease. The score was 136/1. Shorey than came out and played aggressivly. After a partnership of 81, Nisar played a risky shot which was caught and the Falcons were 2 down for 217. A quick 48 in just 38 balls, came from Lister, as he was also run-out. Shorey was unbeaten on 127 adn Kilgallon on The Falcons got themselves to a massive score of 362.

Player of the Innings:

It was a massive target to chase as the Cricwick Legends openers walked out to the middle. The new ball was held by Tuckett and Mahmood who did not dissapoint. Tuckett took the top order by surprise with his variety. He took 5 wickets and gave away 46 runs. Mahmood took 1 wicket from his 5 overs. Rampaul batted fluently to get to his 70 but that was not enough.

Coach Delighted with Win

Zohaib Ahmed told the media today:

I am very happy with the result that we have gotten. Our batsmen made a huge total and that is why we were able to bowl with confidence. Shahbaz and Nisar got us away on a good note and then the experience of Lister and Shorey guided us to safety. Our Bowling was also really good as I was impressed by the pacers. Overall, It was superb!

Nisar Reflected on his first match as Captain.

The team played well. I was happy by my preformance, but I owe the win to Tuckett and Shorey, who played really well. Hope we can win the next game aswell!
