This one was sure to be an interesting game. Two good teams meeting at the Buckland Road CG. It was a slightly cloudy day, the pitch was dusty since Basher's have sensational spin bowling. The toss was also won by the Bashers who decided to bat first.

The Falcons had started out good as by the end of the second over the score was 2/2. Ashraf and Mahmood has struck gold for the Falcons. Mahmood struck another to make the score 13/3 and put the Bashers in deep trouble. Ud-Din made 59, but that was about it. Mahmood struck with amazing figures, taking an impressive 5er.

Could The Falcons chase down this target? Well they had a fantastic start once again. The openers, Shahbaz and Nisar scored quickly Dissanayke soon came into the attack to get Nisar out. Shorey and Lister followed. A struggling innings from Ansari came to and end. But Shahbaz kept his cool and got to his century to finish off the game.

A really well played game by the Falcons. The bowling was superb, and the batting from Shahbaz won them the game. It was a difficult choice for who was going to be MOTM. But for a change Mahmood won the award.

If you were chasing the target around 260, i doubt whether you wud have made it becos opening partnership failed... & middle order showed no ressistance. So openers are the main weapons and if they fail, Falcons are in trouble.

The quickest and most consistent way for a club to make money is by having a big stadium. While you are winning you will see members pour in, and you are getting nothing out of it. But that doesn't mean you get 50,000 seats added. Go slowly, your aim first should be to get to 30,000 seats. Than get to 40,000 and then keep moving on. Also a saying goes around the Battrick world. ZA: Hey Guys!

So, another good week for you?
ZA: Yeah, definately! Two great win, especially the one against the Bashers. We were even told by Zorax, the manager of the evil TT Lions team, that we were going to lose this one. I haven't heard from him since!

We have one important question for you which was asked by Pal. Here it is:
"Mr. Manager, could you tell us how many members your club has and also how you have apportioned your stadium seats?"
ZA: Currently the ZCG holds 38700 people, and I have split it up by the magic percentage which are 45 % of standing room, 40 % of uncovered seats, 11 % of covered seats, and 4 % members seats. Following this your stadium will get the most money.

I know you have an Important game but is there any chance of your new buy Matt Thornton playing?
ZA: Its tough for me to change the line-up when they are playing this good. But he probably will have a go on Sunday against the Borncricketer's XI.

I said, they must have been understrength. The ratings from their this match and the previous one which you used in the preview had a huge difference.

Its interesting to see TTLions and Falcons in some controversies.. lol Falcon manager always interested in pulling Lions manager..

First of all, we apologize for no preview for this match. But on the positive side, this match was a cracker for the Falcons! Facing a slightly weaker team, the Falcons won the toss and elected to bat first. Shahbaz and Nisar made their way to the middle.

How they played was absolutely magnificent! Scoring at a rapid pace and demolishing the opposing bowlers. They both got to their centuries and were going at a decent pace, just enough to get them to 300. But than Shahbaz fell at 112, which led to Shorey coming in. Usually this would not be good news, but Shorey is a good enough player to hit on his own. Both the batsmen played great, and they brought the Falcons up to 332 with Shorey getting to his 50.

Mahmood started out well getting the first two wickets of the innings. Within the first ten overs, the score for the Allstarz was 35/4 with both Mahmood and Ashraf getting two wickets. Burn and Inamullah were expensive but picked up two each, and Ashraf came in to finish it off. Brown was not out on 78 and played a fine innings but in the end the Falcons won the match.
