Draft: The No Ducks Draft

I'll take James Langridge, who was a fantastic all rounder. I mean his records speak for themselves, 31k FC Runs at 35.20 and 1530 FC Wickets at 22.56 is nothing short of exceptional. I'm 100% sure that if he played in a later era he would be very well known. He bats 7 in my lineup for now, although he probably deserves to bat a spot higher. Will see how the team pans out

Dane Patterson then. Hopefully, he doesn't sign a Kolpak deal.

:aus: :bwl: Scott Boland

Tests
- 18 wickets @ 9.55 (1 5WI, best 6/7) in 3 matches
First-class - 296 wickets @ 25.07 (8 5WI, best 7/31) in 84 matches

Scott Boland arrived in Test cricket in the middle of the 2021-22 Ashes series and immediately looked like the second coming of Ryan Harris. His Test prospects are anything but guaranteed as he remains behind Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc and captain Pat Cummins in the pecking order, but good grief. I'm getting him in my side regardless of any caveats about how dogshit the English batters were that he got to bowl at.

Rusi Modi comes in

Clint McKay. Always thought he was rather underrated, and indeed he played just the one test.

@Neptune double pick.

I'll take Lee Ervine, who was at the forefront of South African cricket in their historic 4-0 whitewash over Australia in 1960. Takes the gloves too and bats at 6 for now
My second pick will be Jack Robertson who should have played a lot more than he did if the selectors showed more faith in him. Despite averaging 46 with the bat in 11 tests, he was dropped and that ended a career that promised so much more
