Was very hard to pick between Rusi Modi and Bruce Mitchell but have gone with Mitchell because he was a bigger icon and played in an earlier era.

Another tough one.... I ended up going with Andy Ducat, with his experience in First Class cricket, it was a very difficult choice between Andy Ducat and Reggie Duff in the end

My team so far:

  1. :eng: :wkb: Les Ames
  2. :saf: :bat: Hashim Amla
  3. :eng: :bat: Mark Benson
  4. :saf: :ar: Jacques Kallis

Player seven is out. Featuring some all time players (bats, bowls and ARs), as well as very predictable twists for about three different people.

Since @Ed Smith's Basement was kind enough to leave me Shaun Marsh, and I can deal with a non-bowling seven, I'll pick him.

Everyone now has a wicketkeeper. I sense from my communications with Mohsin he isn't happy with his, but...

Has to be Hugh Bromley-Davenport, who averaged a ridiculous 17.92 in FC cricket. He was described by Wisden of the time as the best Public School bowler of 1887.

ARGHHHHHH!!! why didn't this come up earlier. I'll have to go with Babar Azam even though Azhar Mahmood fits better. I can't let Babar slip by
