Draft: The RNG Draft (Panesar Edition)

This one played 3 T20Is in 2015.

No idea if the pic is right because about three Imran Khans have played for Pakistan in the last 10 years and they're all quicks

Ah that one is even better then.

I wanted to be generous :)

Gonna get out the RNG pools for R6 before sleep today too. I'm unavailable tomorrow (12-8 shift) or Friday (10am city appt, spending the afternoon in there so not at computer) so expect results Saturday if everyone is timely.

Unlucky Dip Player 33
Wasim Haider

Either there's a second Wasim Haider here or Mohsin has been generous. Now, who could possibly benefit from his generosity?

Nominated by: @mohsin7827
Received by: @mohsin7827
He is the right one
Domestic number are good, just played 3 odis though that too in 1992 wc

Ah that one is even better then.
He called himself a "slower ball specialist", and claimed that he can bowl 6 different kinds of slower balls in an over :grat:

First off, @Neo 7 I am still awaiting the pick.

Second off: I'm hoping to post R6 tomorrow. But it's taking me over an hour to do each round atm, so possibly expect a quicker version - the likely victim here is player pictures which take like half that time.

Let me know if you’d like assistance with finding player pictures.

Ashton Agar is easily the best bowler in TV's team so far, and should be able to chip in with the bat too.

Paul Reiffel was an international qualify bowler who didn't play as much as he could have in a stacked bowling lineup. Also a world class umpire.

One of Australia's greatest batsmen, Bill Woodfull will open the batting alongside Baz for a strong combo.

@Paranoid Kendroid

Quick Simon Brown was the selection out of a quite terrible group. This makes up for Bradman.

@Bevab

BK Kunderan is the pick for hipsters, but Anil Kumble is the obvious pick for anyone else, including Bevab.

Wasim Raja, one of very few cricketers to die playing, was an all-rounder with a batting average above 30 and a bowling average below 35. A good addition for a team that will have Panesars.

@Aislabie
1688975548313.png
Ollie Pope will be a backup keeper and a solid #3 (at least 2022 Ollie Pope will) for Aislabie.

Josh Hazlewood gets the pick over Vijay Hazare and Travis Head due to Procter's team needs.

I mean... this at least probably allows Supreme to hide Vizzy in the tail

Stan McCabe was one of Australia's greats in the 1930s. His legacy continued on through his sports shop in Sydney.

An aggressive batsman and decent offspinner, Nathan Astle can contribute in all three elements of the game, vital in this draft (especially with CK having to hide Leverock already).

Joe Hardstaff Jr was one of England's best pre-war batsmen; perhaps he'd be more well known if not for losing 7 years of international cricket to that.

Moeen Ali is the last pick of this round. And I can already sense a wave of triggered Poms.
