Just had a quick match on it.
Some points in no particular order.
The ai player now makes no mistakes not even a second serve .Serving seems more hit and miss now.If its not exactly timed it goes out.
The A button no longer resets the players but the B button. Please either switch it back to A or make it A and B. I personally have never had bad serve because i pressed a to reset for next point nor had i seen anyone raise that as an issue.Rally can be endless and to win a point you have to go in problem for me is ball will go into the net more often than not.On the positive side not one single instance where it hit the net and went over for a cheap point and all the other exploits for cheap points also seem to have gone.
Haven't tried any of the new players yet.Bit suprised that they can't get all the players officially into the game yet they can be made in the academy. Its not like cricket there are 64 top men and 64 top women why should we have to make them ,they should all be in the game together with 10-15 legends .Tutorial has been revamped.Haven't got too far yet but will try to do them all.
Overall not liking too much where the game is going not enjoying it matches becoming a grind just like most other tennis games tbh.At this point the gameplay doesn't offer anything we haven't seen before.

The net play is still quite bad, the AI still often hits the ball into the net when at that net, either that or they smack it way out the back of the court, I've seen a few massive shanks that go directly upward and the AI actually tries to chase after it...

The AI for the most part still can't volley and is still doing regular shots at the net.

Player movement is still very awkward (both with and without the assisted movement), often you can get stuck or your player just won't react to a directional change or movement at all.

I'll admit it was an improvement to an extent, but there's still a lot that needs work as mentioned above.

I understand some people are loving the game in all aspects, but for any true tennis fans, it's a long way from where it needs to be. I do hope the game will be supported long term, but my hopes aren't overly high based on the other recent titles.

Have never said that, plenty of others on Reddit who have said that. Plenty of others who have outright said they’ll never play another BA game again

Hi folks

I have made many matches and the game became very nice after the last update.
Only big issues : teletransportation and wierd slidding transition animations even on hard.
Not enough fault from CPU too.

B Paire Vs Kyrgios at Monte Carlo Expert difficulty

C Ruud Vs M Zverev at Miamy Expert Difficulty

Federer Vs Djokovic at Wuhan Expert difficulty

Fritz Vs B Shelton Hard Expert Difficulty

Caroline Garcia Vs Coco Gauff Miami Expert Difficulty

Emma Raducanu Vs Aryna Sabalenka Madrid Clay Expert Difficulty

The AI is quite broken, even on expert difficulty it’s quite easy to win a match as the amount of unforced errors, especially when the AI seems to come to the net a lot.

Yes they need to fix that but you can play without using the exploit.Plays a decent enough game.Funnily enough i also lost 6-2 as Federer against Djokovic on hardest level. My main issue is that more often than not when i try hit it to the right side of the court it hits the net also not a big fan of having to press 2 buttons for more accurate shots but that is just me.This game will die when top spin comes out not that its buzzing at the moment.Big shame really want big ant and all the other independents to succeed.

Some new courts and players .Game play seems a bit more varied hardest is harder now.Serving has changed a bit right stick moves player left stick is for direction.Haven't been able to find the sweet spot where you could serve an ace.I just seem to fault it .

Early Access 3
New Release

Dear Tennis and Tiebreak fans, happy Easter!

We again thank everyone that has participated in our Tiebreak Early Access, we are thrilled with how the game is shaping up and this is in no small part due to the great feedback we have received from you. Please keep it coming!

For those new to the process, the Tiebreak designers have been engaging with community members and taking player feedback on board daily. Each piece of feedback being invaluable to the development team in refining elements of the game and ensuring Tiebreak is a game that excites every Tennis fan. Over the coming months you will see us continue to iterate on gameplay, fluidity of animations, physics, player likenesses, and some new additions to the game that we haven’t shown off just yet. We’re so excited to tell you about what’s to come!

This brings us to today, where we’d like to announce what you’ll get to see in Tiebreak's next phase of Early Access, which we call Early Access 3 (EA3).

1. 8 Additional Licensed Players
2. Venue Creator (Crowd to be added later)
3. Online Tournaments
4. Overall Gameplay & Physics Improvements

Detailed Descriptions:

1. Additional Players (8 Total):
Tiebreak Early Access 3 adds four new ATP & four new WTA players.

● Karen Khachanov
● Borna Coric
● Yoshihito Nishioka
● Felix Auger-Aliassime
● Anett Kontaveit
● Daria Kasatkina
● Daria Saville
● Iga Swaitek

2. Venue Creator:
You can now create your own customised venues with the addition of the Venue Creator, and also share them with others online!

Design, style, and craft your own Tennis Venue with the Venue Creator. You choose the location, surrounding scenery, stadiums, court logos, and more using the Venue Creator tools – you can now design your dream venue, or recreate beloved all-time favorites.

The Venue Creator allows you to mix and match your venue layout. Design centre court, show courts, outer courts and place up to seven of them around your venue. With a variety of stadiums, grandstands, buildings, and environmental features, you are set to make your mark on the tour.

3. Online Tournaments:
Dreamed of playing on the centre court and taking the top spot? Now it is your chance to dominate with the addition of Online Tournaments.

Online Tournaments are a new Tiebreak feature added to EA3, allowing you to participate across a whole season of fully licensed ATP/WTA online events and earn ATP & WTA ranking points in PvP matches.

Just like on tour, you must perform consistently across the season to climb the ATP/WTA online leaderboards or defend your spot.

4. Overall Gameplay:
● Enhanced Player Fluidity
- You can exert more kinetic motion

● Fine-tuned Net Scramble
- Improvements to RT/LT approach to net

● Adjusted Difficulty of Serve Returns
- You must accurately judge the direction of serve (chance of receiving ace increased)

● Adjustment to Stroke Power Meter UI
- The stroke power meter now turns red & shakes when a shot is overpowered

Closing Remarks:

This successfully completes the Early Access feature set outlined in the roadmap for February/March. As we now excitedly take a look towards the next phase of Tiebreak Early Access, we want to assure you, that our goals for community feedback remain unchanged. We are hoping that you will continue to play a key role in EA4 and provide us with feedback on what you’d like to see in the future.

- The Tiebreak Team

lol they have taken the venues from ao2 academy and put them in the academy for downloading and they look a lot worse than they do in ao2.

The whole creation system is a copy and paste from the last game, the venue creator alone is pretty basic.

I haven’t even noticed venues brought over from the old game, just test copies etc, unless that’s them
