A) No I'm not a Daily Mail reader, I prefer the Times or the Guardian. Still, Dan's post was the equivalent of saying that everyone from Sheffield lives in a 2 up, 2 down and works in a mine. Just a stupid stereotype

Oh and I just watched Top Gear on iPlayer. Pure class, although the Clarkson comment in no way deserved the out-cry it got

I see your point, but to be fair, he didn't see all daily mail readers, and if we're being honest, it is daily mail readers who have made the nonsense going on at the moment such a big fuss. They were the ones who reported it and thought of any negative story of Brand they could during the week after, despite it only receiving 2 complaints for about a week after it was aired.

Oh I am not denying that maybe on this occassion it might have been down to Daily Mail readers. My issue is with the way a whole swathe of people who read one paper are grouped into a giant group on how they think. But yeah as I said earlier, you get used to these outlandish views constantly being expressed by the left thinking members on the forum.

Oh and I do think the Brand stuff was out of order, no matter what his grand-daughter does, he is a true gentleman and didn't deserve that (but that is for a different thread )

Watching question time yesterday it appears they want the BBC to have no entertainment on it whatsoever and all they want it to be is documentarys and the news.
