Then why couldnt the team that scored 700+ in the previous test bat as well here? India also batted as if they were impatient to get this test out of their way. Sehwag and Gambhir batted at run rates of over 5 per over. Even when Dravid, Sachin, Laxman and Yuvraj batted, they kept the run rate at a very good rate. Its not the flat pitch where its so easy for the batsmen. The pitch has definitely changed as the match has progressed.

At least give some credit to the Indian bowlers where its due. In fact, if its a flat wicket they deserve even more credit to be in the situation they are in now. Noone would be sympathizing with them had they been hammered on this flat wicket.
