Here's some info about chasing. In the last 11 games the average score chasing has been 185.27 and every time the chasing side has lost.

4 of those totals were under the 156 NZ have set

The last 3 chasing totals have been 119, 147 and 175

However, it is true that this total first innings set is the smallest so there's less pressure. If India lose quick wickets it's going to be very tough. Especially if one's Tendulkar.

I agree it was a stupid shot but Butler's a half decent batsmen usually.

Why would you try ramp it when the track is so slow. Bond even spoke to him after the previous ball. Bond was playing a good knock.

We need some early wickets Bondy.

Whichever way this game goes i'm really not happy. If we win it's only because the pitch and conditions are absolute junk plus our batting was poor and we're not learning. Too many starts, not enough kick-on. Have to say, haven't been impressed by the results under Andy Moles.

Sachin Tendulkar should make sure that he bats till the end. The remaining,can bat around him. It Should not be a difficult chase. It will be good practice for tomorrow and the final. India should not loose more than 4 wickets today.
