Seems like a tough pitch to score on, but if they keep their heads, India ought to do it comfortably. If they lose the plot, NZ are in with a real shot. I guess if they can force through the top order with the new ball, they might be able to stun them.

@Howsie-I am not saying no one can get him but it would be really nice to see see bond vs sachin btw sachin is looking so smart with new bat lol!

I can't believe they're playing a game tommorow on this same pitch, should be interesting to say the least.

Bond has bowled 4 short wide balls in a row, whats happening Bondage!?

Great short to get off the mark it just cracked on the bat.

Well I'm of to bed. Congrats India on a eight wicket win ;)

What ████ is this.Dharamshena is a shame to be said umpire.:facepalm

Dharamshena is next bucknor :spy

Great one mate.:laughNice bounce from bond sachin not smashing it because it can be a catch easily so he is playing bit safely.

I don't care if we lose. I just want to see Shane Bond. This series is a waste of time and the pitches have been dreadful. It's poor preparation for the Champion's trophy.
Don't know about that. When India visited New Zealand in late 2002/early 2003 we had to play on some of the crappiest pitches made for international cricket in a 2-test, 7-ODI series. It ended up being the best preparation for us as we made it through to the finals of that World Cup.

I have to be honest, I don't think the pitch is quite as bad as you're all making out.

5 NZ batsmen with starts and none kicked on to even 30. Tendulkar's already managed that batting second.

I think New Zealand need to look at their batting rather than the pitch. Maybe a few hard pitches would do them good, might encourage them to work on getting better at tests as well, as racking up half decent scores in ODIs on easy pitches has clearly been papering over some cracks given their test form.

If the score is above 200 batting first in a day night match in this pitch,I'm sure no team gonna chase it no matter how capable they are.Pathetic pitch for a day night match.

The Kiwi guys in this forum have prematurely predicted an easy Indian win.We arent going to win this unless this CSK combo put a solid partnership.

Sachin played a very bad/casual shot, very loose shot, till then he played well, very composed...Now India 130/4,needs just 26 runs and 6 wickets in hand, so NZ now out of series,if India wins the next tow matches, then only they will reach No1 spot, but it will be difficult beating SL at home, lets see...

It will not be that difficult to beat Srilanka at home, but it will be very difficult to beat them batting 2nd.
