Winner will be probarbly Australia, but it should be an interesting contest since all three teams are world class and capable of defeating each other.

they've entered a grey patch, if that can be used to describe an utterly disgusting type of form. today they looked good in the first half of the game but lost the last 9 wickets for 58 runs or something like that. so big defeat, and no bonus point to save them this time because they couldn't get it. oh well. we're warming up for the natwest challenge.

no. mr.vaughn is right. india are back to losing ways after two years of overachievement.

Yes! Pakistan won again over India! :D
But are all the matches only 33 overs?
Btw..I still can't understand the (D/L Method)...

I'm not gonna' start a contorversy but watchin' today's match tells me, media has really over-rated India since the world cup. I mean Pakistan is not even at the top of their level, they are playin' young players who are building, Pakistan is relatively young rebuilding team with players like Hameed, Shoaib Malik, Sami, Shabbir etc. But comon' India is in their prime right now, Ganguly is 31, Dravis late 20s so as Tendulkar... Only player that impresses me even a bit is Kaif but that is just in field. India doesn't seem to know how to pace their innings, they have this mentality of goin' in slogging mode in field restricted overs disregarding req'd run rate which is not a sign of a world class team to me. Look at Austrailia, even chasing 300+ scores, u'll never see them playin' slog shots like Ganguly and Sehwag were playin' today in startin 10 overs against Pakistan.

Well what it proves is that Shoaib, Sami, Shabbir (the overhyped fast bowling attack) is not the strength of Pakistan. Infact Pakistan's strength is their batting and also the number of allrounders they have got. India on the other hand have no allrounders, and you cant win too many matches without quality genuine allrounders.

Ok..but India got all out...I thought they didn't. But are all the matches 33 overs? Or did they play 33 overs because the match got delayed? And are they any channels in the world showing the matches? Ary in Dubai are showing not in Europe :(

Australia have no genuine all-rounders, we either have either Batting all-rounders who can bowl a bit (ie. Symonds and Katich) or Bowling all-rounders who can bat a bit (ie. Hogg and Harvey)

Well done Australia(though I hate to say this once again). But they really are too good a side. The fact that players like Kasprowicz, Harvey, and Watson dont get a place in the starting lineup, speaks volumes about the class and talent of the Aussie players. They can probably have two different teams, and still rule the game. But....you never know. Remember the Windies? It can all come crashing down in one giffy.

As far as Pakistan is concerned, they should blame themselves for the defeat. Blaming the umpire wont help. Who told Razzaq to play that kind of a shot when a run a ball would have easily taken Pakistan home. Pakistan lost due a lack of application, nothing else. Why would an English umpire support the aussies anyway, huh?

Let me tell you its easy for us watching the matches at home and getting to see the replays in slow motion to make the decisions. The umpires just get one shot. Sometimes they are wrong, but mostly they are right.

Neither can anybody else, perhaps that's the reason the South Africans call it the ****worth Dewis or luckworth dewis in a more charitable mood.
