Weakest Team In The IPL

KKR isn't as weak as you guys think. This time we've got a better, tbh much better squad than last season. The team that is underdog is Kings XI, and yeah RCB can fall in that category as well. Can't believe how Dravid did that last season tho'. Good player stable reliable, but he defeated everyone to the way to top.

Kings XI are strong. They've got Pomersbach, Marsh, Yuvraj, Hopes, Pathan, Sanga, Mahela, etc.

I think they're a very strong side.

Kings XI look poor this time.

Last year, Marsh was the surprise package. Other teams will sort him out this time.
Bowling is weak no doubt. Pathan, Sree, Chawla..nothing much there.

Deccan Suckers also have a third class bowling line up.
RP, Infidel Edwards, Vass, Zoysa() ?????

IMO, MI have a very good bowling line up.
Zaheer
Malinga
Bhajji
Dhawal Kulkarni
Dilhara Fernando.

They have oone problem though. Bravo, Jaysuriya will play no matter what.
That leaves them with only 2 seats for international players like Duminy, Napier, Luke Ronchi, Mailinga, Ryan McLaren and Kyle Mills.

Duminy will obviously play no matter what as well.

Lol, no. He's a far better bowler than he will be a batsman. He's well and truely a 1 innings wonder. He'll be incredibly lucky to come close to repeating that innings. He's capable of a few lusty blows, but he's not consistent by any means. Even Dave Warner's more consistent than Napier with the bat. His bowling is very good though.

last season there was a similar discussion and most of them guessed Rajasthan Royals to be s.h.i.t, and look what they have achieved. so guessing won't really help. All teams are equal and will be great IPL again. the key factor would be SA pitches which are very different from Indian Pitches.

I don't find any team weak in the IPL and also i doubt that having International player will make a team strong but too a extent it has some advantage.

Waiting to see Flintoff in the teams promotional video of the team :D

Haha so true........:clap

The Chargers needed to be more dynamic last year, hopefully they go in with a proper gameplan rather then judge themselves on paper like they did last year. Fidel Edwards and Ryan Harris is gonna be good both 145km/h+ bowlers!!!

Gilchrist was their only good player last year. As well as that other Indian bloke. Forget his name. But they were the only ones contributing often.

Rohit Sharma and Gilly carried Deccan last year. But this year Rohit Sharma is even worse, so good luck to Gilly!

Well about Mumbai Indians Bravo, Jayasuriya, Duminy are surely gonna play and the fourth international will be chose between Malinga and Mills probably. Napier, McLaren, Fernando and Ronchi will be given some one or two matches up most and will be used as squad rotation players.

Here is the my Mumbai Indians 11

Jayasuriya
Sachin(C)
Dhawan
Bravo
Duminy
Nayar
Takawale(WK)
Harbhajan
Zaheer
Mills
Dhaval

Good strong bowling and batting. If Sachin and Bhajji are in form well we might reach the finals and go on to win. But the key player in the side would be Bravo, Nayar and Duminy as they will come in when the last 7-9 overs are remaining.

KKR Is not weak this time
like saurav said we didnt have any team last year
but still we finished 6th
this year there"s gaylefor half the tournament and mcculum for major part of the tournament
SO IT SHOULD BE LIKE THIS

B.McCullum
C.Gayle
S.Ganguly
C.Pujara
L.Shukla
S.Bangar/M.Henriques(depends on who playes b/w kartick and mendis)
W.Shah
M.Mortaza/c.lANGAVELDT
A.Mendis/Murali kARTIK
A.Dinda

ANd the There"S hussey and hodge available
There will be a rotating policy
I.Sharma

Then

Mills will be spanked all over the place, especially in this format. I'm thinking Malinga because of his X-Factor and a superior ability to generate crowds perhaps. It's all about the money in the end. KKR finished 6th last year but made the most money (going to be difficult to do that this year for them seeing as Ganguly won't be playing in Kolkata).
