West Indies in Australia

GRRR! i can see where your coming from, but he seems so unlucky. also, when he was batting well he was dropped for the likes of Clarke and Symonds, he has shown what he can do, so let him face the less-thretaning attack of the Windies and let him find that form that IS there.

i have a feeling i am alone on the Katich Debate,

Right now, yes you are. He has been going crap. He has been given a chance and this is how he is repaying the selectors.

lol. its just my personal biast. i am exactly the same about boof lehmann, and still theink he would have been a better captain then punter.

4 consuetive(sp?) hundreds to punter vs West Indies, Top notch player

Collymore is the man as I said. But I still think West Indies should have batted first. I think tomorrow McGrath will really like the pitch.

Ponting is on 135 and about to reach 150.

So far Watson is holding it out with his 14 runs of 44 balls.

Australia 264/5 (65.0 ov)

And Watson is out.

Australia 273/6 (68.0 Ovs) Watson gone for 16

Ponting out, 149
Now, can we finally be over all-rounders that don't get the job done?

the pitch is starting to crumble and WI are going to struggle tonight/tommorow

Tonight pfft, we still have McGrath :)

Who needs Watson when we have Lee batting and bowling better than him.

Stumps Day 1: Aus 340/7 (85.0 ov) Warne 31* and Lee 19*

I was going to say the West Indies dominated Australia. But they didn't finish off the bottom order. Has they gotten Lee and Warne out quickly and cheaply they would of had Australia in trouble. The West Indies side is promicing, as I thought, they put up a good challenge. GO WEST INDIES.

Collymore was just like against Pakistan. :) Good for Australia that Warne and Lee stuck around. If they get 400 runs that would be a good platform.

Actually I don't think Watson has that X factor in him that usually good allrounders have.

Neither, time for us to look else where. Infact time for the ACB to hire me as the all rounder finder :D

400 would be an enormous total. This pitch isn't dead flat, it's seaming well, there's already been some widely variable bounce (1st day! wtf!) there was some reverse swing found later in the day and don't forget this is Warne's favourite ground.

It's making for good cricket, but it's not a 400 pitch.
