Going by that team MacGill or Bracken will be 12th man as I can't see them going with 5 bowlers.

Exactly that is why the selectors never use that. With Symonds in there he can keep it tight. The rest of the bowlers can attack and McGrath well he can do both

Hodge deserves his spot. His first class record is quite good. Better option than Katich. Hopefully he doesn't get a jitter of the first game blues.

Especially Lara, Bracken I feel would be best for the Hobart conditions. One spinner by the name of Warne is enough.
