West Indies in Australia

^ Agreed we got VERY poor decisions in England!

Damn right. It's those kind of double standards that frustrate me. When decisions go in Australia's favour, they are held up as examples of favouratism. When we get the rough end of the the stick (i.e Ashes), it's completely ignored, glossed over, or said to be 'just part of the game.'

Good to see MacGilla snare some wickets, bad luck for Symonds (taking a wicket from a no-ball). Hopefully Hussey, Hodge, Clarke and Symonds in particular can get amongst the runs tomorrow. Don't know why Warne played, if he was in doubt right up to game time, surely you'd want to rest him....

Again disappointed to see this result. Australia could win with an innings here.
Surprised to see Warne getting that expensive, although it's normal Test economical average. But he didn't get a wicket.

Finally a big change again for Hussey to show his batting skills. And not to forget for Hodge and Symonds too.

To all of you aussie fans who are complaining about how bad this series is, just imagine how us windies supporters feel? :crying

That is completely incorrect. All of us face some kind of complaints, and we too feel when decision dont go againt us, no one seem to take it seriously, whereas when decisions go in favour of us, everyone makes a nice little mention of it.

As far as the Ashes are concerned, we beat you fair and square.

Coming to this match, well, there is just one team playing after all. Like I said, if you can shut up their(west indies) four main batsmen, the game is effectively won.

Fair, yes. Square, no. It was very close and could have easily gone differently in many situations.

I think you're being generous. They'd be lucky to find one bloke they could call a "main" batsman at the moment.

Probley being a sore loser but in the edgbaston test (i think) where Aus needed 2 runs to win, Kasper got given out off his gloves, but his hand was off the bat so you cannot be given out caught behind, that lost us the match, and possibly the ashes!

But he was plumb LBW a long time before that which Bowden didn't give.

I bet I really enjoyed the ashes even though we loss was up to 3am on every test was great but this is just ridiculous

really since 1993 the windies are just getting worse and worse although last time they were here wern't they bowled out for 52 a couple of times/? lol

its a shame seeing it they were so dominant in tthe 70s and 80s and awsome to watch they were teh australia of now probaly better

No umpire could've seen that.

Have to agree with you. The amount of times the West Indies have been bowled out for less than a hundred in recent history is a joke. I can think of atleast four occasion's against England right now. Twice in the 2000 home series, twice in the 2004 away series and there's obviously other times as you've mentioned! I know other teams have been bowled out for under 100 a few times, but for a team that still has hugely talented batsman, it's ridiculous.

I believe it?s a combination of problem of attitude + basic technique. OK we can?t criticize Lara too much (if at all) considering his career achievement. But some of the way the other guys get out is just plain schoolboy stuff.

And as a West Indian supporter it doesn?t get any easier to watch!!!

It is sad to see the great WI name being brought down like this. The bad thing for them is they don't seem to be seeing the light like the English have. No up and coming batsmen in the side and the bowlers don't look to flash either. No spinner which is going to cost them on spinning wickets.

All is not looking good for the Windies on the test front. ODI they should fair better as all it takes is one batter to hit a 100 and a win is near.
