West Indies in Australia

I believe it?s a combination of problem of attitude + basic technique. OK we can?t criticize Lara too much (if at all) considering his career achievement. But some of the way the other guys get out is just plain schoolboy stuff.

And as a West Indian supporter it doesn?t get any easier to watch!!!

I can imagine it's not good as a supporter at the moment, us Englishman know how it feels! Not so long ago we were ranked the worst team in the world and couldn't see how it was going to improve anytime soon.

I think the West Indies has too many talented players for this run to continue. Devon Smith, Gayle, Sarwan, Lara, Chanderpaul, Samuels, Bravo, Ramdin, Edwards and Collymore are a very talented bunch. Then there is Pedro Collins who would be playing if he wasn't injured.

Talent isn't enough. They just need to somehow translate all that talent into performance on the field.

That is completely incorrect. All of us face some kind of complaints, and we too feel when decision dont go againt us, no one seem to take it seriously, whereas when decisions go in favour of us, everyone makes a nice little mention of it.

As far as the Ashes are concerned, we beat you fair and square.

My statement was not completely incorrect. Obviously fans will be biased when assessing umpiring decisions that impact upon their team. This I have no problem with. I also believe that on average Australia get a good run with the umpires at home, but it is no different to any other home side receives when we play abroad. On the whole, I thought England received the better end of equivocal decisions throughout the Ashes. I would expect your opinion to differ, and that's fine.

And I have no problem saying the Australians were beaten fair and square. No disgrace losing to the #2 ranked side in their own backyard.

Rain has delayed play so that should take this game into the 3rd day.
These overcast conditions will help the Windies out as well. Play should get underway soon as its not heavy rain.

Anyone still watching or sitll remotely interested in this test series or are people waiting for south africa to come here or perhaps the Chappel-Hadlee series?

With our entertaining batters and bowlers I will always be interested. Biggest things to watch out for this match is Symonds bowling and batting, Clarke batting to see if they should be in the side or not. Then you get to the entertaining guys like Gilly, Ponting, Hayden. And to top it off McGrath's batting is always good for a laugh.

You forgot to add Hussey making his first test century :D

Oh yes, Hussey batting! Starting to look good after a shakey start today. I hope he does well as our domestic comp is meant to be that good that a batsmen from it should be able to do well in the international level.

Hussey makes 50! Justin Langer can retire now. ;)

Just replace Symonds will do fine for me :D
Hussey the people's champion

Symonds did well in the 1st inns keeping it tight. Lets see his batting.
Congratulations to Hussey great knock, hes starting to look really good now. Also hitting the square/cover drive very well just like Langer usually does. His pull shot is looking way better now. As BF said drop Langer now ;)

Hayden well he hasn't done much as Hussey is been a hogging the strike :)

Congratulations to Hayden also reaching his 50.

Looking like Haydo and Huss will both be on there way to century's tonight

Unless what you said above jinxes them ;)
This here is the entertainment I was talking about in my above post, I love watching our batsmen bat. 6s and 4s gallore!
