Tendulkar, Sehwag, Yuvraj, Dhoni,Raina and Zak are likely to be rested here. Team to be captained by Gambhir and will be deputed by either Harbhajan/Laxman for Tests and Kohli for the ODIs.
As for the bowlers, I say move over Ishant now, we also have new fast bowlers in the ranks who are raring to go and prove themselves. One young lad whom I would like to see is Jaidev Unadkat as the lad has some genuine pace and is a left-hander too. Get in Nehra if Unadkat is not picked though.

What pace are you talking about? He has none and he is a useless bowler that should stay away from the national set up.

Raina should go, because he has earlier experience at Australia- he can be a good replacement or an extra batsman.

I would doubt Virat being left out for Australia test series. Again if he don't do well against WI in tests then he will be out but if he does well in those tests, then I don't see any place for Raina in the test squad.

lol Jadeja for test? That sounds a bit weird. I am hoping Ojha can get in that test squad in place of Mishra and Ashwin in place of Bhajji. Keep hajji in the squad but play with Ashwin and Ojha.

Pujara is fit now for top flight international cricket. He should be picked for the tests in Australia. On those wickets, he can be reliable. Its time to move over Yuvraj Singh and Raina and pick both Pujara and Kohli for the Australia tour. Or if they are not keen on Kohli, they should pick Rahane and Pujara for the Australia tour.

Now that sounds really stupid. He has done so much for the team and won so many series outside sub continent which many of the Indian captains couldn't do and one or two bad series gives him this result.

Dhoni's test form has been very poor. During the England tour, he was almost like a sitting duck and would perish immediately once the new ball comes in. Also his captaincy seems to be showing decline. He is still a very good captain in the shorter formats (ODI and T20) but for test cricket, having him as captain forces the team to keep him in as wicketkeeper/batsman and that hurts the team in challenging conditions. I would have Dhoni continue as captain till the Australia tour, and then have Gautam Gambhir take over as captain in test cricket while retaining Dhoni as captain in ODI/T20 cricket. This way, we can try Wriddhiman Saha or Parthiv in tests and the workload on Dhoni can be reduced and he can maximize his talent by playing ODI's and T20.

Well i want Rohit Sharma to be given chance as he is the only youngsters who has not got chance in TEST after scoring lots of runs.. He Averages 60 in First Class and i think he is far more talented than Kohli.

Harbhajan Singh has been excluded from India's squad for the first Test against West Indies, and R Ashwin, Pragyan Ojha and Rahul Sharma will make up the spin department. Amit Mishra has also been excluded, meaning India will have a completely different set of spinners to the one they had on the England tour.

Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir and Yuvraj Singh have recovered from their injuries in time to make it to the squad, which will be captained by MS Dhoni.

The pace department also has a new look with Praveen Kumar and Sreesanth being left out in favour of Umesh Yadav and Varun Aaron. Ajinkya Rahane also finds a place as a reserve opener, ahead of M Vijay and Abhinav Mukund, while Virat Kohli replaces Suresh Raina.

I feel thats game over for Harbhajan for near future. This is the team for first test only. I see Rahul getting his test debut if its a turning track or Yadav and Aaron will definitively be playing if a medium track.

I feel this was harsh as Harbhajan should have been given the last opportunity. What about Dhoni? He is still playing may be will be rest for last 2.

A Leg Spinner is must but Picking Leg Spinner for Test Matches on Basis of IPL does not sound good to me..
