Rahul sharma has been given Grade C contracts (25 Lakhs) and he has not played a Single International Match yet..

seems to be a misunderstanding..I'm more for persisting with Amit Mishra for the leg-spinner's spot in test line-up than selecting Rahul Sharma after one good IPL season. That' why I had seconded the opinion with +1.

even i want Amit Mishra..
I am saying that They have given him national contract for a year which is far more surprising then picking him in Test Squad..

Even Ashwin Came From IPL but he has improved his bowling alot in last 4 years and now got chance in TEST.

I will be interesting to see how Ashwin Goes or Sharma (if he get Chance) because in TEST matches they won't be Getting Wickets easily as they get in limited overs cricket.

I am thinking he will be in the final 11 as India always plays with 2 spinners. So I think Ashwin and Ojha are the spinners and Ishant and Varun Aaron are the fast bowlers.

3 pacers-1 spinner is a good combo.
IMO with this combo, Yuvi needs to be there in playing XI with proven bowling credentials to fill-in the 5th bowlers role. He will get one more chance to redeem his test career too.

not sure who the 1 spcialist spinner should be, Ojha is more experienced in test level than Ashwin, who is about to make debut.
But Ojha alongside Yuvi would lend no variety to spin -bowling attack.

I see this guy Sunil Narine who impressed for Trinidad with his mystery off-spin during the champions league, went back to Caribbean 50-overs competition and was the leading wicket-taker

Throwing him into a test series vs IND at home is of course risky for any spinner. But i wonder if the Windies selectors even thought him, since IMO he looks to have something unique about him during the Champions League.

On a Delhi wicket (for first test), you want three pacers??? IMO, two pacers + two spinners and Sehwag would be a great combo. Delhi will be a slow and low wicket with inconsistent bounce and turn. You would do good with 3 spinners on it. If Yuvraj also plays, we will have Ashwin, Ojha, Sehwag and Yuvraj doing the spin duties.

well it is impossible to play this XI just because P Kumar is not in Test Squad. .

Dhoni won't risk playing 2 Debutant Fast Bowler in a Test Match..

Yuvi will do well on these Indian pitches then go abroad and show his true colors. No more Yuvi in the test team. I would have gone for Jadeja instead.

2 spinners, 3 pacers. I really want to fit Kohli in, but I think if Jadeja could handle the extra pressure on him as a batsman, that's a good team combination.
