FIRST INNINGS Analysis
Tony Cozier: Well thats a competitve score and the ball now is in WI to court for the next say. What do u reckon Michael.
Michael Holding: Well i too agree with it and I hope WI bat better and get some sort of lead, since they will be batting better.

Good performance by both Banks and collins, question were raised when both were included and they have done well.

329 is a good score, but yeah after the start they had, I would have expected them to get more. But well done West Indies for coming back into the test match.
As far as playing Ricardo Powell first, I dont think it will be that make a difference, so whatever Brian Lara feels is better!

NZ fight back with quick wicket
Well NZ started to bowl really well with the new ball and WI found the going tough and were scoring only one run for the first 3 overs.
But panic crept in between Gayle and Smith as they really misjudged a run to see smith out of the crease by just 4 cm as NZ gain a crucial wicket.

What a seesion this has been 5 wkts so far for just 41 runs. All because of pressure and nothing of the wicket.
But agony fills in for the Wi as Sarwan gets a cracker from cairns and WI are tottering here at Queens Park oval.

There is confusion in ground due to unruly crowd behaviour and match has been stopped.

Cozier: Well i will explain situation here at ground, this is really agonising to see that the crowd have done like this, nothing has gone out of control here, a few plastic bottles thrown at the ground, and Fleming has rightly complained to the umpires and they have rightly stopped the match right now.
