NZ begin their innings at a poor pace, I think their batsman looked out of sorts.

WI bowlers gave nothing away with both the opening bowlers Lawson and Collins struggled the openers.

The Kiwis were scoring so slowly the score after 10 overs were just 14 runs, with both batsman taking enough time to settle .

But slowly sinclair player some good shots and KIWIS started moving
.

Richardson too joined in the party and scored some boundaries KIWI were slowly starting to break the shackles.

At drinks in first hour NZ were 38-0 for 16 overs. Very good overrate though by WI.

But NZ have to improve their pace a little.

I think Richardson has retired for International cricket.

Also, are you batting or bowling?
cuz I realised that in the first two screens, you had no pace as well no direction on the ball.

In either case good bowling for WI, but I guess a wicket or two would have been a better satisfaction for Brian Lara.

u r correct mate richardson has retired, actually before starting the tour i misplaced my old roster and the new int roster update, so that was the problem so i will update the next time i play with KIWIS.

For the next doubt u have I am definitely bowling and for that particular spell i didnt move the marker according to a picture i downloaded from our site that tells that for normal delivey the dot should be in centre of the ball, as for of pace i stopped the pace at 0 and u thats why the cpu was beaten very early in their innings usually they dont play at all balls. just a changein tactics.

here is the pictures that shows the dot should be at centre

Score AT LUNCH

Nz have slowly and steadily reached lunched 70-0

Both batman Sinclair and Richardson were solid and WI bowlers werent effective at all.

cover8ub1.jpg

Lara used four bowlers and none of them were effective.

Sinclair was in fine form as he played some lovely shots to remain not out on 40, But the best part of the session was when Banks was intoduced and he bowled a fine over to sinclair which was perfect over in test cricket.

Richardson was 25 not out.

Tony Cozier: Well a steady start for the KIWIS and hope Lara will regert his decision to bowl first.

Jeremy Coney: Well good solid batting performance. WI have too bowled decently, i think this will be the trend in the match with the pitch being a good one.

Cozier: Well i was impressed with sinclair batted beautifully, here lets see were he as scored his runs.

Tony Cozier: Well sun beating down I think the afternoon session will be a better one for batting and i hope u guys join us after lunch for the post-lunch session

Collins gets the first breakthrough when traps Richardson in front of the wicket to get his first wicket of the series

Fleming joined and Sinclair and drove the ball to the fence with ease, looks in fine nick.

WI take crucial wickets- PLAYERS HAVING TEA

WI bowlers bowled naging line and length as NZ were left in some sort of bother as they were struggling at 144-3 at tea on day one.

NZ lost their skipper cheaply lbw to bravo, until he misjudged a delivery from Bravo he was looking very good out there in the middle. The score is 106-2.

TEA TIME REVIEW

TEA TIME REVIEW

Tony Cozier: Hello everybody NZ looked good in that session eventhough they lost 3 wickets they have score 84 runs. I think the credit is due for the WI bowlers who bowled quite superbly.

Michael Holding: Well yes they have done well but i till think if the KIWIS dont lose more than 1 wicket in the next session they r on top.

Cozier: I would like the Kiwis to score about 100 runs in the last session, as that would really put a good opening days score. The pitch looks good, I think WI will score much quicker as their attack has more pace than WI.

Michael Holding: Well lets wait and watch what happens.

Cozier: Definitely we will, ok let us join with the 2 commentators for the final session of the days play

Play resumes after tea

Well play resumes after tea and as expected the Kiwi lift their run rate with both Sinclair and Mcmillan making runs.

Sinclair was good in his footwork as he played some lovely shots of Spinner Banks as he used the crease well to score runs.

sin41tt.jpg

But Pedro Collins made short work of their scoring by removing Sinclair with a
delivery that came back in and disturbed his stumps. NZ were reduced to a score of 176-4
