Doran is taking a bit of a hammering. Sarwan showing his class, Chanderpaul got a decent hit out and Bravo is going real well. Nice seeing McDermott taking a wicket.

Hopefully Gayle will be back in time. Wouldn't be anything without him D:

Queensland well on top atm, but WI were in a good position and then they collapsed so not writing off WI just yet.

Feldman and McDermott bowled really well, good signs for the future.

Real pity McDermott's a ranga, that kid could have gone a long way :p

With Ramdin at 8, it's a pretty poor matinee. There were some promising hit-outs, but a lot of half-arsed starts. Bravo enjoys facing the spinners, but he gives his wicket away to them as well. In fact, I'd think Doran would be pleased with his figures. Queensland also seem to have unearthed yet another decent young fast bowler in Feldman. If only they could trade one for a batsman.

Clarke now looks 100% for the 1st Test, 106%, even. Haddin's knock of 44 will help ease concerns, though his spot was probably safe. Krejza is no closer to coming back, however.

My ass > Hussey

He needs to stick to ODI's now, Hussey. I can't see him doing much more for the test side now.

Gotta agree with that. Hussey has been terrible in tests for over 12 months now. If he fails to get a score in the first test he must be dropped. He probably only saved his spot for the 1st test with his last innings of the Ashes

It's a shame Hughes has to miss out after a couple of dodgy innings in England in the Ashes after he played so well in South Africa. I personally believe now is exactly the time to be picking Hughes.

Giving him the chance to play internaitonal cricket at home, against a slightly lower quality of opposition (no offence to the WIndies there but they aren't up there with our recent opposition) would do his confidence a world of good and get him settled into the team.

RIP
Phillip Hughes who died on 19/11/09.

He will be burried next to Jaques, Rogers, McGain and Krejza whom all have shared his fate.

Surprised we didn't go with a 13 man squad as Clarke requires daily treatment so who knows what will happen with him.
