The West Indies have played as expected - a few short bursts of good promise and nothing else, the Australia batsman have rarely been placed under any consistant pressure and have for the most part done it fairly easy as all but two batsman getting a start suggest.

How many runs have the dropped catches cost? They could have kept Australia to a relativly small target.

well Hauritz was dropped for less then 10, North in the 40s I think. And I think it was Ben and Bravo that both dropped Katich yesterday. I will say close to 150 runs.

Been waiting ages for Roach to bowl, any reason why the quicks arent being used? Especially against Siddle?

Finally Hauritz with a Test 50, for his talent he should have made a few more. Was lucky to get there but you take all 2nd chances you can get.

Blast :( I have to watch on flash streams online (no cricket on TV) and they keep switching between NZ PAK and AUS WI, must have just missed him.

The 50s aren't too bad when 4 or 5 players make them but if only one or two make them then we start running into problems like we did in the 3 series we have lost.

Streams I'm watching on are showing separate matches.

Good declaration by Ponting. Perfect time I think.
Hope that Barath can do his talent some justice and make a good score in his 1st test.
