I like the way BBC say England "cruise home", as if 57/4 wasn't a bad position. Wasn't too hard to guess KP would go nuts and throw his wicket away at the daftest of times. When was the last time ding dong got two fifties in the same match? *trotts off to find out* (June last year vs Sri Lanka, before that December 2007 vs Sri Lanka)
If windies had been a bit more at the races in their own innings, and indeed bowling at England, this could have been very different.

If Sammy don't got a Problem with Gayle's Return then why de WICB got a problem with it?
Just like what Sammy said : "I think Chris has said he is available for Test cricket, one-day cricket and T20 so it is up to the selectors. We have been having some difficulties at the top of the order and if he comes in we would all welcome him, myself, Ottis and all the guys."
Powell NEED to be replaced by Gayle. Since Sarwan refused to play for West Indies due to the fact that the Selector didn't call him up for the Test, which i think was not good. sarwan should of been in the tour to England, despite his last Performance, since Powell isnt all that good.
I don't mine the other player, even though like i said before Sammy for me is a ODI/T20 player not a Test, but since he is Captain at least let we do something better with the Top order, since again de bowlers still doing good even with Sammy in the pack, it's the battting is the problem.
We tried Powell he failed in all his Matches why not try some one else? like a Senior player.
Gayle yeah to adjust from T20 to Test may not come easy but he can Bat better than Powell, he cant do worst.
As for Edwards, he failed so far this series, Fudani Need to replaced him, let see what he can do since Edwards Failed 4 times in England.
For the Bowling, Rampal need to replaced Edwards for the 2nd Test. I would still go with the 3 Fast bowlers. with a of course Sammy. Ramdin need to Improve more with Batting.

Give the kid a go. He just made 100 vs England Lions. His record is pretty poor otherwise, sure, but he's got some talent. This is where you need to be reassuring Powell that 2 low scores don't mean much, not dropping him and muttering about Gayle. That just sets a high bar of expectations that he'll find it difficult/impossible to reach.
For me Shillingford has to play (unless it's so green England drop Swann). England's weak vs spin, it showed in the last few months. Why give them what they want - which is pace? I'd have perhaps Rampaul in for Edwards (whomever is fittest) and definitely Shillingford in for Gabriel.

Where have you been the last 2 years? I will tell you what has gone wrong with our cricket and it is POLITICS!! Every none cricketer finds themselves on the Board, pass players with pedigree are overlooked (Walsh, Ambrose etc...) and every Member for himself and/or his Island that is what is affecting our cricket!

If the England team were made of biscuits what biscuits would they be?
Cook would be a cookie obviously, Finn would probably be a Fruit Biscuit because they're slender and Pietersen a BN Biscuit (BN Biscuit are owned by United Biscuit who own KP Snacks)
I've not over thought this honest.
