It will be interesting to see what happens to Marshall. The tone that comes from the WICB it doesn't look like they will take any actions. He is allowed to play for Jamaica in the regional competitions.
If he doesn't play I hope WI select someone young instead of reverting to D.Smith and Ganga.

Squad for New Zealand Tests Chris Gayle (capt), Ramnaresh Sarwan, Lionel Baker, Carlton Baugh, Sulieman Benn, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Sewnarine Chattergoon, Fidel Edwards, Leon Johnson, Xavier Marshall, Brendan Nash, Daren Powell, Denesh Ramdin (wk), Kemar Roach, Jerome Taylor.

Well the squad looks good, I like that Nash is in the 15 and he will probably get to play since Bravo is out. Not having Bravo is a huge blow for the WI a good all-rounder and a excellent fielder. Hopefully Roach can prove himself in the Abu Dhabi ODIs or the warm up match so that we can finally leave Powell out of the starting 11.

I was shock not to see D Bravo.

It's time the younger player pull up there sock and at least makes us fell proud.
Recently Bangladesh was given NZ trouble i hope we do better.
I just Hope K Roach don't play the fool. because he is quick and can get wickets, he got 2 against Aussie in the 11/11 but for me that don't count.
Because Aussie was just hitting. This is the real test for all these youngster If they are really capable of Playing real cricket instead of 20/20 cricket.

Good luck to all of them. Plus I hope if Ramdin get pick at the keeper i hope he makes run like what he doing in the Stanford tournament. because when i saw him batting in there, he have talent, but when he come to WI the main game where he suppose to play good, he play crap.
If he don't play good for this tour, i wish WI drop him and give better keeper this job.

If the Windies can control Mccullum and Oram and somehow weather the storm with Vettori they're set for victory. If the kiwis can control Chanderpaul, Gayle and Edwards they're set for victory. Its high time the other players start pulling their weight for both sides. It will be a good series. I will be interested to see who the younger, unknown players stand up. No Bravo. Hmmm that evens it. I personally think Windies for the tests and Kiwis for the ODIs.

Yep agree with you i hope WI unknown player stands up.
I am having hope for My Home boy K Roach, I want he to be a great fast bowler, played against Aussie in the 11-11 and got 2 wkts.

For NZ Taylor and Ryder are the possibilities. I guess Marshall (if he's playing) and Ramdin (more with the bat) for the Windies. I love being neutral. Makes life so much easier.

for me Jerome Taylor is the key bowler for WI. He is far more accurate than Fidel and his speed is up there too. And knowing that New Zealand struggle against fast bowlers I can see Edwards and Powell giving them allot of trouble. If Roach is in the team than they are really in for it because he is as quick as those 2.

This should be an interesting series, which I will look foward to watching some of. I am not sure who I think will win either series because the Windies are unpredictable and New Zealand don't play heaps of Test cricket.

we finally did something smart and included Pollard in our ODI squad for these 5 ODIs. I hope that he actually gets a chance and I'm sure that he can back his selection up.

Gayle is not taking part in the warm up Ramdin is the captain instead. McIntosh is getting one last chance to push for a Black caps call up hes off to a solid start right now, the squad is being announced tomorrow I believe.
