aha, oh the good old Pokemon on the Gameboy, i remember we were obsessed with it in Primary school

LOL I found my old Gameboy Colour yesterday when I was clearing out my study and found Pokemon Blue in it. Played it for half an hour for old times sake. I never did coolect all the Pokemon What happened when you did? This question will plague me forever I need it answered

On the Pokemon addiction, I use to play Pokemon Red. Does feel like ages ago since I've played it. I think it was 8 years ago. Use to consider my friends God for having Gold/Silver version.

I guess I'd have to rate the best games on the basis of the time I spent playing them rather than them being graphically good. So with that in mind, here's my list

Microprose Grand Prix 2. For me the best of the 4 game series, and by far the best F1 game ever.
Civilization 2. Used to play this for hours and hours, just pips Civ3.
X-Wing. Best of the Star Wars games.
Sim City 2000. Spent many a night playing this only to have my city destroyed by some disaster or another at around 3am.
Championship Manager. Not sure which version to pick, I'll go with 01/02. A life ruiningly good game.
Wolfenstien 3D. One of the original first person shootemups, just beats Doom because you get to shoot Nazi's.

If you want to go even older then Tetris and Breakout probably belong in the list somewhere.

I would say the best games I have played are:

Half Life 2: The graphics are superb, the gameplay is fun and exellent and you just want to play it over and over again. The best shoot'em up I have played.

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas: What can I say, Its just brilliant.

Metal Gear Solid (The first one on PS1): iT has a nice simple story and I used to complete it over and over again.

I played Yellow and Crystal. Good times. I was obsessed, lol

FM 2005 to 2008 - That steals all my free time when I have nothing else to do.
rFactor - All the mods give you an option to race anything thereby brilliant shelf life.
GPL - Old.Difficult.Excellent.
