What games have you been playing recently?

Wow.

I am totally blown away by Prototype now; I've just had one of the most amazing, most visceral boss battles of my entire gaming life.

At first I thought the way the game starts off at the peak of the infection and then flashes back would spoil it, but it hasn't turned out that way. Granted, the game started out a little slowly in my opinion, but then it just got better and better. I've put around thirty hours into this playthrough and the game is still coming out with new things to surprise, amaze and disgust in equal amounts and the developers have really nailed the feeling of a city falling apart bit by bit, day by day, as more and more people become infected.

I have heard that Prototype 2 was a buggy mess on the PC, but I've also heard there have been numerous unofficial fixes found for it. Has anyone here played the game? Is it worth buying now? I really hope so because if Prototype 2 is anything like the first game, it's firmly on my radar.

Prototype is without a doubt one of the best, if not the best, 'open city' games I've ever played - and all I paid was ?3. Three pounds for this amazing, visceral, bloody, gory, disturbing, exhilarating, mindblowing thrill ride. If you haven't played it, and you like open world games, what the hell are you waiting for??

the 2nd playthrough?

About 5-10 hours will be afk-ing in game while I did something else but apart from that, it's how long it took my first playthrough. I explored basically everywhere while I was playing.

49 hours... what's that: the campaign mode? I'm completely hooked on Prototype right now, but any game that's 49 hours long and is 'great' is worth my attention. ;)

the whole game is campaign mode, really. the only multiplayer is co-op.

Borderlands is a bit grindy at times. I did put in stupid amounts of hours, but really I only properly enjoyed it when I was playing co-op with my mate.

Finally started Last of Us. Can see why it's pretty much the game of the generation. Very slick, very well put together so far.

Borderlands 1 isn't as fun by yourself, but I played BL2 on my own and it was still pretty awesome

Hey, you're back, want to get back to that Mafia game:p?

@MB: By the sounds of it you'd really enjoy inFamous...

The Walking Dead on my brother's iPhone.
Hardly differs from the PC version.Loved it.
Sadly, can't play it on my Grand as they haven't released it for android.Don't know what keeps them away from making an android version of the game, they'd get more people on it than usual.

PC. And I'm not enjoying this game. Prototype 1's hero is the villain. ;)

Ha ha; he was hardly a hero now, was he? More of an anti-hero. What you mean is he's the first game's protagonist. :)

Why aren't you enjoying the game? Is it just not as good as the first; is it down to technical issues; or is it simply that you don't like the fact that the first game's 'hero' is now the bad guy?
