What games have you been playing recently?

Decent but flawed. Has some nice ideas. Can be pretty fun, but also a bit buggy.

Can probably find it for very cheap, which if you can, I'd say it's worth a playthrough.

How is Dead Island? I want to grab a Zombie game just for fun...

Get The Walking Dead if you want a zombie game with good narrative and story, where your choices matter.

Btw are you caught up with the episodes yet?

Ha. Me and a couple of mates have been mildly addicted to it for the last month :p

yeh i only got it today. enjoyed the first one only playing sp, don't have any friends with it but a bunch playing with some people i've been playing me3 with tonight. a lot of fun.

Yeah it's awesome co-op.

You're on PS3 aren't you? Add me up *username removed now* and if I'm on at the same time can potentially do some co-op :)

Yes I have caught up with the episodes, can't wait for Sunday. I might get The Walking Dead looks sick.

What's Mass Effect like? I've never fully enjoyed sci-fi, in anything really, so can it appeal to someone like me?

The trilogy looks a really good deal at $90 so I may have to pick it up when it comes out.

Surely you can find all 3 for cheaper than that!

I'd probably recommend getting the first one cheap and 2nd hand, give it a go, and if it doesn't take you, trade it back in for roughly the same price. Seems silly to invest that much in 3 games you might not actually play.

A new game costs on average $100-$110. Hell COD games are usually $150. So getting three for $90 is great. We pay the most for games in the world I believe, even with exchange rates. It also has most of the DLCs obviously which is a bonus.

The first game isn't available stand alone on PS3 I believe. I could always resell the collection anyway for a good $70.

Is the gameplay solid? How about the story?

A lot of people love them. The first two are particularly good, but the 3rd angered a lot of people... If you like RPG's and you like sci-fi/space settings it's a no-brainer. Tough to recommend if you're not normally a sci-fi fan.

I wait until steam sales to buy my games

As do I for all my PC games, but tough to do if you're using a PS3 like thedon ;)

I think if I lived in Aus or NZ I'd definitely spend the money building a good gaming PC due to prices for console games being astronomical.

oh yes true

Importing games for PS is quite a bit cheaper but takes ages
