Michael Clarkes good start has ended when he kicked a catch to point where Maharoof was standing. The opener made a good 48 just falling 2 runs short of a half century. He was caught of the bowling of Muralitharan

Ricky ponting made a quick 30 runs before being dismissed by Bandara for 30. He was bowled by a brilliant yorker that Ponting couldn't keep out. Australia are now 2/182 with Gilchrist not out on 96 with new batsmen Adam Voges at the crease. They still need 159 off 101 balls but still have Gilchrist in and Andrew Symonds in next so anything could happen

SYMONDS AND GILCHRIST GO CRAZY

Adam Gilchrist and ANdrew Symonds have gone on a slog fest, smahing 83 runs off just 60 balls. Gilchrist is not out on 138 and Symonds not out on 40. Australia are 3/265 but still need 28 off 42 which they should do easily

England have started well in there final Super eight match, getting the early wicket of Michael Clarke for only 3. Gilchrist is still there on 7 not out, coming off an 150 not out against Sri Lanka in there last game. Ricky Ponting is the new batsmen at the crease and will be looking to score some runs ahead of the semi finals, should they make it
