Is Rohit (no Vada pao from now :p) missing a trick here? With the old ball isn't that right to put umesh and Shardul in, with Jadeja bowling some odd overs out? Siraj aggression and hitting the deck hard is great but he's more handy with new(ish) ball.

That was indeed but more than that, I guess the individual profile runs, milestones and Gibberish from Mr. RR and team, were the main reason AUS ended their 24 years draught in PAK
Definitely, but in third Test we had them 200-5 in the first innings, could have bowled them out for 250 and then batted on a still dead pitch

20 overs until the new ball. The way they're getting through overs in this match they probably won't reach it until Australia have declared.

What the hell green?

Those roughs might be enough for Lyon to be LION. IND better watch out :spy

Some bloke posted in cricinfo about 1979 oval test where IND almost chased 438. Looking at them I feel, jeez we're not as passionate fan as we think. May be more of negative nazi. But deep down you know, this lineup doesn't have :bwl::bwl: to show that character. Sunny G 221, IND were 366/2 while chasing... these top order will do that? My Fooot!

Four (four 1/2) sessions needing 400. EASY. Just need a couple of lads to bat like Root and Bairstow did at Edgbaston.

It's 'Negative Nancy' btw. :lol

Played Carey.

New ball taken - Australia is already in the driver's seat but if they can add another 40-50 runs then India has a more significant psychological barrier to break.

Let's not forget, Pujara has been in the UK playing County for months now and scoring prolifically - I don't think India is out of this.

If India is to lose this, the discussion will come to the amount of Test Cricket that isn't being played and the consistent T20/IPL but with the money in those, I doubt anything will change. How can you go from IPL straight to a Test final without another Test match or at the very least a competitive game in the UK to prepare for this match?

Australia haven’t played any cricket other than behind the scenes practice for this one either. Blaming the IPL for this seems a bit far fetched.

I am not blaming the IPL. I am simply saying that how can you expect to come in at 100% after coming straight from such a hectic IPL schedule on completely different pitches?

I would have at least scheduled a game against the likes of Ireland or so, just to give some match practice before a WTC final.
