Sachin dont open in test ^^ all 4 of you, nor does Gilly. these are more like all time ODI team...

but for me Sachin must have to open,it will give him even more time to play a long,smooth good innings.

There's no other opener that i can put in the side that would warrant dropping one of the top six. So that's why Sachin is opening between all of them.
We could look at Kallis but being the allrounder he should not open.
Ponting,Lara and Ul-Haq's places are fixed in stone so its Sachin at nr.2.

Tendulkar is not a test match opening batsman. Never has been, never will be.

Sorry if it seems a little biased towards India but that's just my opinion. To be fair, picking the openers was the hardest part. I had to think a few times before leaving Katich, Watson and Smith out.
