Would Shakib Al Hasan make a team other than Bangladesh?

I WILL agree with you Lassana that he overrated, but that doesn't mean he's rubbish and like the others have pointed out, he fills a gap that most countries don't have in their teams.

my only point was he is not the worlds best and i personaly dont think he can get in to many teams, but for sure he is NOT RUBBISH. there are rubbish players in BAN team but shakib is not one of them for sure!!!

But if he start playing more and more with quality appositions like AUS, SL,IND,PAK, SF etc and start playing well consistently, I might change my mind ?

For know Ban is playing more with ZIM and associate nations and they are not challenging bigger nations!!

Even if you say that first match of the WC vs IND and last match vs AUS, they did well
Bottom line is, they never looked like winning at any stage of the game

Looks like everyone?s thinking, he can get in to any team and he is world class, I cant, I think he is just overrated. For me its like this

Lets say, you have a bucket full of cricket balls and another bucket full of footballs

And you take one football from the bucket and put it in to cricket ball bucket.

Even if the football in cricket ball bucket would be slightly smaller in size to other footballs, it would look bigger then all the balls in both buckets

see, I'm not sure your analogy works because people are evaluating him on stats across the board with all players. It's not like they're making a subjective evaluation with other bangladesh players.

in your bucket of balls analogy, people are still taking the football out the bucket and measuring it's size and compating it to the other footballs.

shakib is a good player but nothing else. i dont see him getting into teams like SL, Pakistan, India. Maybe get into Aus because they need a quality spinner. Shakib probably coudnt even get into England's limited bowling attack (in ODIs anyway).

ahhahahha joke of the year for me..Shakib would walk into England side anyday..tell me any decent spinner eng had in the recent past except swann. As a bowler swan is only a bit better then Shakib but as an all ounder shakib is miles ahead ( I am a neutral btw).

Nothing what so ever!! but i have problems against BAD cricket, it just kills this beautiful game and it hurts....

ZIM had 18years of test cricket and BAN 10 years. Its about time they get their act and start contributing for the betterment of the game. Not just play the underdog day in day out and block good teams like Ireland

england dont need to play more than one spinner. if everyone ine their team is fit. an attack of anderson, broad, tremlett/shahzad and swann...where would shakib go?
