Zimbabwe in Bangladesh, November 2010/11

Bangladesh chasing again . Will end up with a similar total as in the last match. The good thing is that Ashraful has been dropped.

Now that's more like it from Bangla

Raqibul shouldn't be dropped again. Should definitely remain a fixture in the side.

Mashrafe got only 3 overs, and Naeem Islam got 10.

So Shakib got the 2 players he wanted, and got a win. And he made it clear that he doesn't think much of Mash's current form by giving him only 3 overs with the new ball and taking him off.

You have to admire Shakib standing up for his players and actually trying to win the matches, even if it means dropping or ignoring big names.

I wonder who he'd prefer as a second seamer instead of Mash. My guess is one out of Rubel/Shahadat/Rasel

It has to be Rubel. Rubel's last game: 9.3/1/25/4

I don't know why he was dropped in the 1st place. They said he was "injured" just so they can bring in Mashrafe. Mashrafe is not ready yet.

They also have Nazmul Hossain.

A. Razzak - 1st ever SLA/left handed spinner to take a hattrick. huh.

I've noticed something - Chigumbura has not bowled in the last ODIs.

Does anyone know why?

They need to bring back Rubel at the expense of Shafiul because I know that Mashrafe won't be dropped.

Bangladesh should be targeting a score of 230+ after the loss of those 2 wickets.

Another fifty for Shakib, he and Mushfiqur have rescued Bangladesh.

How good is Shakib, seriously.

this score is quite a chaseable one, if the zimbabwe can keep wickets intact and look to be agressive like bangladesh did.

Avg. total while batting 1st at Mirpur is 191. So I guess they did pretty good to get 240+ now they better defend it.

I find 210-220s are more defend-able than 250+, more tricky. But more the merrier ...

from 46/6 to 181

Damn Kanye West picked up 4 wickets and scored 60 odd runs.

Bangladesh won the series 3-1. Tamim scored an aggressive 95 to give Bangladesh a 6 wicket win.:clap
