I think the mechanics should stay fundamentally the same. An option to have the legnth display earleir isn't the worst idea in the world but what the game is really missing is feedback to help us improve. Tell me about the timing and direction and selection of fortwork, and shot when i mess up, so i understand why i am messing up and i can improve.

I like the idea of having an option to display length earlier but I do not know whether it would be possible in a patch. Would be nice to just have a colour in the HUD just as the bowler is in his stride. As new batsman comes to the crease it should be difficult to tell the length but as they spend time at the crease the judgement becomes better. I like the idea of a a timing and selection in the HUD. Almost every other modern cricket game has this. I would like it to be better than the display the feedback they have in practice matches as that seems a bit too basic.

I believe that you automatically get level 1 in steam from either buying or starting your first game.

Hence why I'd like to see him prove Steam ownership...
