Just batted poorly in the first innings after a ok-ish start, and despite Markram and Rassie playing really well in the second innings for much of Day 3 their middle order let them down. I think QDK is batting a position too high and he should move down to 6 so he can play more like himself with some more freedom. Push Bavuma or bring some other guy in to bat at 5. What happened to Klaasen? An attacking spinner to support Maharaj, like Shamsi could strengthen their bowling attack a bit more.

Shamsi was injured last moment. If Bavuma is going to bat 8, I don't get the point?

Yes. The TL;DR is that they're not a good team because their players aren't very good (and the commitment to a quota makes the team even harder to balance)
