English almost had a women go through the 2nd round over Hingis. 2 match points but she couldn't finish it and then got flogged 3rd set.

First day of the tournament and we may have seen the match of the tournament already, and it's still not over!! Fantastic to see Henman playing the way he is after so little game time this season.

Well done to Tim Henman, proving all his doubters wrong to beat Carlos Moya 31-29. He's got a complete unknown in the second round, hopefully he can get to the third round this year!

Norfolk's Richard Bloomfield lost 13-20 to Lleyton Hewitt though. Norfolk will one day produce a decent tennis player!

31-29?

I wouldn't call Lopez a complete unknown to be honest. Talented individual and has reached the quarter finals at Wimbledon before.

Well, I've never heard much of him... know the name though.

31-29... Henman won a total of 31 games, Moya won a total of 29. It's easier than writing 6-1 2-6 5-7 etc..

Thats right. Take Feliciano Lopez lightly at your own peril. Infact I think he will beat Henman. Congratulations on beating Moya but really neither is he on the top of his game nor is he a grass court specialist. Lopez will be a tougher opponent.

Too right! I've got no time for anyone who openly admits that they support whoever's playing against England in a tournament. As far as I'm concerned, Murray's an opposition player in the same way Nadal or Federer are.
