The Ups And Downs Of International Cricket

England have certainly been on top for most of this game, although Australia kept piling on runs, they didnt do it without having to work for it!

England bowled well but Australia found some balls too good not to be smacked away, especially when Andrew Flintoff decided to give his biggest hitter with the bat, A BOWL!

Kevin Pietersen came into the attack and bowled three beauties, which landed nicely in line with middle and off stump and spun sharply into G.Jones gloves, without the batsmen offering a single shot!

4th Ball: The ball is pitched well outside off-stump and Symonds smashes it towards the top tier!

Went for miles......6!

Giles has been one perminant bowler at the other end while Flintoff has been fiddling with the other! He has bowled well in his come-back match, and has really troubled the batsmen with turn, bounce and the occasional straight one which has confused the batsmen. Clarke must have expected the straighter one here, as he crept down to one knee and swung his bat towards the ball, as soon as the ball pitched and Clarke bat made connection the crowd knew it was spiralling up and guess who's hands where underneath?...............Marcus Trescothick! Apart from Paul Collingwood, Trecothick has been very good in the catching department and he added another to his tally, easy catch in the end.

The shot got what it deserved!

Hogg arrived and the Australian crowd thought they would be in for a respectable display from the man who is pushing out Mcgill in this game....after a reasonable shot for 4, and a brilliant two runs, he got out to a shot which shouldnt have left the turf once it had his Hoggs bat. A rutine shot to third man ended Hogg's 20/20 campaign and took a decent catch down low by Flintoff to dismiss the man who was a Post Man before his days as Australias Slow Left Arm Allrounder!

Lazy Shot! Great Catch! OUT!

Please guys, tell me what you think, and how it can be improved as im hoping the way i do it is enjoyable for you to read :)

I think the presentation is pretty spot on actually, you just seem to be overusing some effects at times. Solid though, keep it up.

Yeah, i was a tad worried that i was over-using, ill keep it to a limit now

But thanks for your comments, i always appreciate comments from anyone as they do help.

Simo, its well presented but in small places the effects can be slightly/marginally reduced! eg: Hogg's face....well this is only a suggestion!

But overall, its nicely done and i like that oval frames of players celebrting n taking a catch n KP's reaction! :happy! Good presentation n Good read Simo :clap

EDIT :- Simo, is necessarily 20 men squad shd be posted or 15 men squad is enough....???

i am yet to pick players for Windies!

England Wrap Up The Tail, With A Bit Of Big Hitting To End!

England finished off Australia, but not before Symonds made a late pledge for Stardom as he hit a late 51 off just 22 balls, but all good things come to an end, and Australia finished scoring nearly 210 runs. Most people would say England had no chance, and many might be right, but can Englands big hitters come into the game and Slog for 20 overs?

England walk off knowing that they arnt on top at the moment.

Englands main man this innings was Ashley Giles, he bowled some tight lines and really troubled the batsmen.

Australia couldnt have started any better

Gillespie couldnt have bowled a straighter ball to start the innings, and as a result Strauss leaves after only 2 balls, only really one, as the first ball was horribly wide.

Bell followed suit and so did Trescothick leaving England 30/3, with Vaughan hoping to stop the rot!
