IPL 24th match - Rajasthan Royals v Chennai Super Kings

Badri was terrible today. That is it.We cant bunce back from this situation in this tournament.Better Badri be dropped. He isnt exactly a T20 batsman, but he was doing quite a good job till this game.Clashing with Dhoni dint do any good for either his or the team's cause.Better luck next season for us.

Rajasthan Royals beat Super Kings by 17 runs. Royals on a 4 match winning streak. Chennai Super Kings lose their 4th consecutive match.

:hpraise SHANE WARNE, you are genius captain !!!

TODAY'S STAR OF THE MATCH - NAMAN OJHA. :)

The truth is - CSK struggled against short pitched deliveries. So it is going to continue for Indian team to the next T20 world cup, isn't it! :mad

Sadly yeah. Hope our team young lads improve their tactics against short deliveries. Anyways as far as match was concern Chennai needed Morkel and Dhoni to stay in the middle till the end and that didn't happened. Badri needed to play big strokes but he was not able to do that well. Nonetheless a strong performance from Rajasthan Royals 4 wins in a row, good going.

Rajasthan on a roll
When Watson comes.this team will be tough to beat
And I feel sad for teh CSK Supporters....Even though i hate them.but still...CSK supporters are the most in the forum

Morkel's sixers off Warne were awesome, he really should bat ahead of Badrinath but unfortunately his bowling is crap as usual. I guess CSK are missing Kemp a lot atm.

Told you CSK fans that don't underestimate the other batsman of RR. Ojha just pwned CSK while they were focussing too much on Yusuf. Warnie is a legend. :D

Good game for Rajasthan. For all purposes, the task in front of CSK is damn hard and almost impossible. Only a very very special performance from here can get them to the semis (6 wins out of 7 needed). Rajasthan are on a roll and they have turned their fortunes around. I never underestimated Rajasthan's talent without Yusuf but I definitely felt Yusuf would be a major influence. Credit to Rajasthan that they proved it wrong.

Hayden is a major flop in this tournament (apart from that one innings). Heard Badri ran out Dhoni. That was catastrophic since he too scored at less than run a ball today. Captaincy from Dhoni as usual is going downhill. Joginder Sharma picked, Ashwin not picked. Thushara needs to continue. He did well with the ball. Why was Arun Karthik played so low down? Was he played as a bowler? Vijay batted real well (where are those anti-Vijay guys?). Morkel makes it tough for Dhoni to drop him with his useful batting knocks. His bowling is proving to be waste. Anyways, will support Chennai till their last game. If RR can turn around fortunes and win 4 in a row, you guys shouldnt be down. Win 6 out of 7 please!:)

Let him perform consistently then we will see. Even Irfan Pathan has played few good innings in this IPL.

Winning 6 out of 7 matches is a tough task. :)

Definitely Joginder must have paid something to get constantly picked without any results. :p We miss the X-factor which teams like Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers have. Look at MI in today's match - they were 90/7 and they are now in winning position.

Irfan is a very good batsman in all formats. Its his bowling thats a problem. In fact, Irfan can qualify just as a batsman in the T20 side. He is that good.

In the KKR game, he (Vijay) scored 32 odd at a strike rate of 120+. Here also, he has scored at a strike rate of over 120+ with a score of 40+. He can bat really well in T20 and also provides solidity to the batting order.

The problem with us is bowling & not batting. Current batting lineup with Vijay & others is definitely sufficient. But the bowling?:facepalm Tell me one ball from CSK bowlers which was bowled like Zaheer & Malinga's yorkers of today's game ( MI vs DC )? :mad

Even I felt Agarkar good yesterday in KKR game surprisingly. But Chennai doesn't have any quality pace attack.
