5th Test: England vs Australia at the Brit Oval

And Ponting. And he frightened Hughes so much, he's scared to take the field and had to be replaced.

Not Ponting. No way.

Hughes? Did he even get a chance to bowl to him? Or was he too busy being injected with painkillers? He wasn't even that great mate.

I'm talking about his performances against Australia.

Oh ok, yeah the one in the fourth test was really great by the way. Very impressed.

No Ramps, Trott in for Bopara and Panesar is in the squad also.

Panesar in for Harmison, Trott in for Bopara.

No more changes then please. :)

Panesar? Ffs, our selectors are useless. Tredwell just took a 10fer whilst Panesar's still bowling rubbish. Would have liked Key in there as well. If MSP is in the XI we'll lose.

Hooper, Flintoff'll come in definitely. Panesar will play in place of Onions if he's in the XI.

Panesar :laugh

The worst spinner in international cricket.

The sky pundit with the annoying voice whos name I forget (bob willis?) Makes a good point, Geoff Miller says county cricket is much differenet to Test Cricket yet Bell and Trott have been picked on their performances in County Cricket. Yet Ramps and Key have been left out. I'm not going with my Ramps talk here, but Key has an alright record and does actually have a double century to his name against a decent Saffa side, he also has been banging out runs yet he still doesn't get a chance. Poor old keysey don't see him getting back in the side :(

Panesar has no chance of doing better than Harmison, apart from the fact he bowls more overs - but that's what you'd expect from spinners. Generally, if you bowl more balls, you get more wickets. Trott in for Bopara is a better selection though.

Dan, I know Flintoff will come in. I just don't want him to.

Can't believe how quick Monty has fallen, when he came onto the scene the English were in joy to finally have a spinner that could spin the ball and take wickets.
